Hear What a World Series-winning
Coach Has to Say
Paul Treu is the former Head Coach of the South Africa Sevens team. Under his leadership, South Africa won their first World Sevens Series in 2008/09, and secured 14 major World Series Cup Final tournament wins across the world under his tenure, including London, Dubai, Wellington, Adelaide and Edinburgh.
Does This Sound Familiar?
You’ve done the coaching courses.
You’ve run the workshops.
You’ve set the KPIs, targets, and dashboards.
And yet…
Your team still dips under pressure.
Performance isn’t consistent from week to week.
Team meetings feel busy rather than effective.
People say they understand, but behaviour doesn’t change.
You’re stuck firefighting instead of leading.
If you’re honest, you’re not short of data, experience, or effort.
You’re short of something deeper:
A clear understanding of the behaviour.
All of these behavioural challenges are not leadership and coaching failure.
Once you see behaviour clearly, everything else gets easier.
I’ve spent the last 15 years analysing performance in education, sport, and business.
How it Started
Where Data Ends, Behaviour Begins.
I learnt dashboards don’t change culture, behaviour does.
Learning to read between the numbers and redesign the environment that drives them was a big shift in my thinking.
In sport, we obsess over data, metres gained, tackles made, passes completed.
But when games are won or lost by the smallest decisions, data alone doesn’t explain why some athletes adapt and others freeze.
That’s where behaviour comes in.
During a series of workshops with Paul Treu (Head of Rugby, University of the Western Cape) and Michele van Rooyen (former South Africa Rugby 7's Analyst), we began testing a new idea:
Could behavioural analysis be taught like performance analysis and coaching?
The answer was yes, and it transformed the way the coaches look at designing coaching sessions and analysis.
Now, that same framework has been developed into a powerful new CPD experience:
The Executive Certificate in
Behavioural Analysis for Performance & Leadership
This workshop is not designed to replace traditional leadership training
It adds the behavioural insight most leadership programmes don’t reach, giving leaders a practical way to turn their people's knowledge and skills into consistent high performance.
What Leaders Tell Me All the Time
"Training feels great… but learning disappears."
“Why does the team keep slipping back into old habits?”
“I feel like I’m repeating myself.”
“We’ve invested in training, but behaviour stays the same.”
“We know what to do, but they don’t do it under pressure.”
“We have data, but we can’t translate it into decisions.”
If that sounds like your world, you’re not alone.
It’s the reality in so many environments.

Transformation This Workshop Creates
This workshop gives you the tools, structure, and clarity to finally understand and improve the behaviour driving performance.
You will get:
✔ Learning that is easy to measure
No more guessing whether training has “worked.”
You’ll learn how to track changes in behaviour, decision-making, and consistency with simple, practical methods you can use immediately.
✔ A toolkit to analyse behaviour with confidence
You’ll use behavioural mapping templates to break down triggers, routines, consequences, and environmental factors, the mechanics behind every action your team takes.
✔ A system for selecting the right intervention
You’ll learn how to diagnose whether an issue is caused by capability, opportunity, or motivation, and choose the intervention that actually works, rather than trial-and-error fixes.
✔ A shared behavioural language for your whole team
Communication becomes clearer, expectations are understood, and people respond more consistently under pressure.
✔ A way to connect data to human behaviour
You’ll learn how to translate insights, reports, and KPIs directly into behavioural adjustments that drive real performance change.
✔ The confidence to solve recurring performance patterns
No more firefighting, repeating instructions, or dealing with the same issues month after month, you’ll know why behaviour happens and how to shape it.
✔ Tools to build an environment where good habits stick
You’ll create consistency through psychological safety, reflection, reinforcement, and environmental design, the foundations of sustainable performance.
Behaviour is feedback. It's Time to Start listening.
Before You Can Change Performance, You Have to Understand Behaviour.
“I kept seeing the same thing, leaders and coaches overloaded with data, yet still frustrated by inconsistent performance. Not because their people don’t care, but because they never had a clear way to understand the behaviour underneath it. This workshop gives you the structure to finally solve it..”

Imagine a Culture Where Accountability Is Automatic.
That’s what behavioural design makes possible.
Hi Jason, thank you so much for the 2 workshops you’ve presented so far. You have not only given me new and exciting approaches to my professional work environment, but you have also given me greater insight into situations my teenage son is facing. Totally invaluable thank you.

The Right Room Changes Everything.
Just like data and performance analysis revolutionised the way we evaluated sport 20 years ago, behavioural analysis will define the next era.
Be among the first to master it.
Spaces for the first 2026 cohort are limited to ensure deep interaction and practical feedback.
Only 30 seats are available for the first intake; early applicants receive access to the AGORA digital community for a full year.
Another fantastic workshop on Behaviour Change led by Jason. High-quality content, high-quality participants, high quality venue. Can't wait until the next one.

Dr Jonny Bloomfield
High Performance Coach for Executives, Entrepreneurs & Elite Athletes
Still Not Sure?
Don't worry, we got you. Here are some answers for your questions.
Is this just for elite sport??
No, the principles apply across all levels of sport. The frameworks are drawn from real-world high-performing examples, but the practical tools are adaptable to academies, grassroots, and educational sport.
Will this course make a tangible difference in how I coach or analyse performance?
Absolutely, this isn’t a theory-heavy academic course. It’s built to change the way you see behaviour in real coaching environments.
Do I need a behaviour science or psychology background?
No, we teach the science in practical coaching language. You’ll learn to apply behavioural thinking and behavioural analysis techniques immediately.
Can it count toward CPD hours?
Yes, the course is in the process of being CPD Accredited and GAABS-recognised (Global Association of Applied Behaviour Scientists)
