Towards a "good" posture

Discover how support begins from the ground and transforms and transmits throughout your entire body.

NEW 8-WEEK ONLINE COURSE

This workshop is designed for those seeking to improve their posture, movement and presence through a deep understanding of the body in motion. Using the Feldenkrais Method approach, we will explore how a more efficient organisation of the skeleton and attention can release tension and improve posture.

It is a series of classes that could be described as more familiar, but with a focus on improving posture.

This workshop is an invitation to reconnect with your body from the ground up and explore the balance between stability and mobility.Through gentle and powerful movement sequences, you will discover new possibilities for action,

balance and self-image.

From 22 October to 10 December:

8 classes where you can continue with the theme, questioning and improving your posture, both standing and sitting...

The objectives of this series:

  • You will learn to align your body naturally, without rigidity or forced corrections, through gentle, conscious movements.

You will discover how to release accumulated tension in your neck, shoulders, back and hips with small actions that reprogram your nervous system.

The course will help you perceive your body more clearly and subtly, understanding how you move and how your habits influence your posture.

Explore the distinction between the effort to ‘perform’ and the inner listening that guides deep learning.

You will gain freedom of movement and a feeling of lightness that transfers to both your body and your state of mind.

Which audiences?

  • Health professionals (physiotherapists, movement educators), carers.

People curious about human movement and evolution.

    Artists of movement, of life

People with an appetite to learn about movement and about themselves

The contents?

To start the year, I propose a series of eight classes designed to help you discover a more lively, present, and balanced posture—one that does not immobilise you, but rather supports you and prepares you to move with greater freedom and confidence.

Creative and ‘simple’ classes to better understand functions

A simple and creative process to expand your skills, understanding, and knowledge.

You will learn to integrate balance, coordination, action and attention into a harmonious whole.

Let us recognise how the motor development we experienced as babies influences our posture, balance and mobility in adulthood.

How shall we do it?

I will share with you my vision of this wonderful tool.

I am Samuel Letellier,

I have been a professional dancer, and today I am a Feldenkrais Method teacher and study osteopathy and singing.

I have been practising Feldenkrais as a teacher since 2009, mainly in Spain, but also in France, Germany and the Netherlands. I offer my practice in weekly classes, individual sessions on a treatment table and weekend courses. Even before lockdown, I was practising with Zoom and I continue to give group and individual classes in this format. I am also invited to many theatre and dance schools, festivals and training courses.

The Feldenkrais Method provides me with a wonderful tool for powerful awareness... I really enjoy teaching the Feldenkrais Method in its pure essence, but I am also excited by the poetic dimension that dance gives me after having developed a sense of great sensitivity... What I enjoy most in the classes I teach is being able to combine and intertwine my knowledge with your contributions.

From the analytical to the poetic.
