LET'S KEEP PUBLIC LAND IN PUBLIC HANDS

Our coalition of health, housing, local community groups, and local residents in Hanover & Elm Grove has come together because we want any plans for the site to:

• Ensure public or community ownership

• Prioritise social and key worker housing

• Achieve a health hub and community health facilities

• Deliver new community space and facilities

• Maximise sustainability and biodiversity

• And truly engage residents and stakeholders in developing a people’s plan for the site.

To do this, we need your help.

The Sussex NHS Community Foundation Trust has now agreed an ‘initial business case’ that threatens to selloff the site to private developers. Which means we need to push the government to step in, and work with the council to keep the site publicly owned.
