What teachers say about working with me
I knew I needed a change, but I felt stuck, unsure of what else I could do or where to even begin. I didn’t feel like I could do anything except teach. Working with Natalie was amazing. She really saw potential in me that I couldn’t see in myself and believed in me.
I didn’t even know what skills I had that would be useful outside of teaching but Natalie helped me to identify my transferable skills and hidden talents. We talked through job adverts and I learned how to approach applications to showcase my skills, experience and knowledge in the best way possible.
Shortly after working together, I started getting invited to interviews. I felt so supported. Less than 2 months after starting to work with Natalie, I got the email I had been waiting for, a job offer! Not only will I have better work-life balance, I didn’t even have to take a pay cut and will be on a similar salary to my teaching role.
Natalie was the cheerleader and guide that I needed to make this career change and give me more confidence in myself. I couldn’t have done it without her.
Barbara, London
The sessions I had with Natalie have had such a positive impact on me. I found it really useful that Natalie gave me specific actions to work on after each session and gave me a sense of accountability which was so helpful!
I found it really easy to talk to Natalie and she made me think of things in different ways and come up with new ideas which I wouldn't have been able to do on my own.
My sessions with Natalie were really helpful and I'm so glad that I chose to work with her.
Natalie really helped me to focus better and to take action so that I could feel happier and make progress.
Natalie was a great coach and I really enjoyed working with her!
The support Natalie has given me has been phenomenal. She really resonated with my lived experience as an ex-teacher herself. Natalie helped me identify what I really want from a career and successfully ‘deteacherfied’ me when it comes to cover letters and interviews.
Most importantly, she transformed my confidence and self-belief. She helped change my mindset. I felt in the strongest position ever to transition out of teaching.
With Natalie’s support, I was able to translate my experience into skills and identify a variety of career paths I could follow. Since working with Natalie, I got a job as a Programme Manager for a charity. It’s a fully remote role and a breath of fresh air. I have autonomy, trust from my manager, and the energy to enjoy life outside of work again.
Book that first session and don’t look back!

I've learned how to re-package myself and my teaching skills for a new employer in the most effective way. It’s been a long time since I’ve had to do that, and now it feels much less overwhelming.
Hannah, Devon
It's shone a light on the skills teachers already have, whilst highlighting how best to share them in our 'new' careers. I have been reminded that I am not alone and have the ability to cross onto a new path, both emotionally and professionally. Thank you, Natalie!

I'd seen interview techniques like the STAR method mentioned a lot online before, but I hadn’t realised just how impactful it can be until it was explained so clearly.
It was really helpful to see how typical teacher tasks like “marking books” could be broken down into the different skills used and then how that wider skill set can be applied to other careers. That exercise genuinely helped me see my skills in a completely different light and recognise how transferable they really are.
I definitely came away feeling more confident, with a much better understanding of my own worth and how my skills can be used in many other professions.
Natalie is a great speaker and you really get a lot out of working with her. Even if it’s just for a confidence boost, it’s absolutely worth going along!

I felt trapped in teaching and didn’t know where to start. I now feel like I have a plan and a much clearer way to relate my skills to other job types.
Steph, Reading
I was so worried that my experience was too niche for other jobs but I realise now that it’s not, I’ve been focusing too much on job titles rather than my impact. I’m so relieved!

My story
I reached burnout in 2015 after years of weekends and school holidays spent on school trips, no breaks, and zero life outside work. I remember sitting in my classroom after the first CPD day of the year, listening to a “motivational” talk about results, and just bursting into tears.
I couldn’t do it anymore.
So I did the sensible thing (heavy sarcasm coming) and booked a one-way ticket to Australia.
I nannied. I worked in a wildlife park. I panicked.
And six months later… I was back in the classroom. Still exhausted, still overwhelmed, still stressed.
It took me two years to figure out how to leave teaching properly, without a pay cut, and into a job that respected me, inspired me, and gave me lunch breaks, actual annual leave and my life back. My whole body relaxed. I could breathe again.
There is nothing special about me.
If I can make this change, so can you.
This strategy call is the support I wish I'd had back then.
