Guest Reception
After each service, we host a guest reception. A pastor will be there to tell you a little about the church and answer any questions you might have. Light refreshments are provided.
The Bridge Course is a 10 week introduction to the Christian faith. Each week starts with a free dinner followed by a brief talk covering questions like How Can God Allow Suffering?, Can We Really Trust the Bible? and Why Doesn't God Just Forgive Everyone?. Following the talk is a small-group conversation where you can ask questions. The Bridge Course is for everyone, especially those wanting to explore the Christian faith, those who want to brush up on the basics, newcomers to the church and new Christians.
Explore is an 8 week introduction to how we live out the Christian life together. Each week begins with a light continental breakfast, followed by a short teaching, and ends with a small-group discussion, lead by a pastor. The class is free and childcare is provided.
All of our members are involved in small groups which we call Community Groups. The goal of these groups is to deepen friendships, provide care, and apply the Bible to our everyday lives. Visit covfel.org/cg to find a Community Group near you.
Our Mission
We exist to treasure, proclaim and grow in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Gospel
The gospel is at the center of all we do here. The word "gospel" means "good news" and refers to the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and serves as the substitutionary sacrifice of the Savior on the cross. To learn more about the gospel we recommend you sign up for the Bridge Course. It's the best news you will ever hear!
Treasure
We exist to treasure God. Nothing in the world can satisfy us more than knowing God and experiencing the love he has shown us in Jesus Christ. God is a source of unending joy, a treasure of infinite value. He has created us and redeemed us to worship him and delight in his salvation.
Proclaim
We exist to proclaim God's excellencies. God has called us to join him in the unstoppable spread of the gospel. The church witnesses to the truth of the gospel through evangelism and godly conduct. Having received God's grace, we eagerly pursue the lost and proclaim the good news, extending his grace to the surrounding world.
Grow
We exist to grow in Christ. The gospel not only saves us, it transforms us. As we behold the glory of Christ and apply the truth of God's Word to our lives, we grow to be more like Christ in every area of life. God's Spirit leads us in walking by faith, fighting sin, and joyfully obeying God's commands.
