Don't worry, I got you. Here are some answers for your questions.
How does the cycle tracker work?
The Cycle Tracker can be used in 2 ways. You can choose to either print your tracker and fill it in with pen and paper or there is an option to edit the tracker digitally using Google Sheets (this is completely free you just need a Google account).
How much effort is this going to take me?
Cycle tracking really can provide maximum results with minimal effort!
It takes me less than 30 seconds each evening before bed to fill in my cycle tracker for the day, but the insights I gain from that information save me countless hours of worry, guilt and shame each month.
Why should I use your cycle tracker over all the period tracking apps out there?
Believe me, I've tried just about every app out there to track my cycle and never found the perfect one for me.
Here are 5 reasons I created my own tracker because no app could answer my needs:
100% customisable - my cycle tracker can be customised to suit you and the symptoms you want to track throughout your cycle - I got so fed up scrolling through apps trying to find the symptoms that applied to me, or worse still having to use multiple apps because there wasn't one that completely met my needs.
Mood tracking - many cycle tracking apps I came across focused only on the physical symptoms of PMS such as bloating, breast tenderness and cramps. I needed something that would also help me track my moods and emotions throughout my cycle and help me monitor my PMDD.
Shareable - it was important to me that I could share this information with my partner so that they could support me - my tracker allows me to do this and doesn't charge me for it!
Safe - you can choose to have complete control over your cycle tracking data without the worry of where it's being shared or what it's being used for.
Free - some period tracking apps wanted to charge me between £19-£79 a year to track my cycle! On average we're going to spend 39 years menstruating - that's £741-£1,027 spent on cycle tracking (not to mention the tampon tax and actually buying the sanitary products we need!). My tracker doesn't cost me a penny.
Bonus reason - This tracker is perfect if you're seeking a diagnosis - unfortunately, most healthcare professionals are so stretched at the moment they do not have time to scroll back through months of data on an app to form a diagnosis.
However, if you can present them with the data from your last 3 cycles on 1 sheet of paper they are much more likely to be able to read this and take in the information to provide you with the diagnosis and support you deserve!
