You don’t have to go fast to get ahead
The pressure to plan, hustle, and push can feel overwhelming, especially as we live and work in a world that favours speed.
But what if the real key to success wasn’t rushing forward?
What if slowing down could help you align with your energy, recalibrate your relationship with work, and set a foundation for meaningful growth?
Join me for “Embracing Slow” ... a 3-hour immersive embodied wisdom workshop designed to help you connect with your work and leadership with intention, ease, and clarity.

What You’ll Experience
Recalibrate your relationship with work: Redefine your expectations of what success looks like and craft a new way of working that will support both your ambitions and energy
Connect with Winter’s energy we go into Spring: Discover how this season of replenishment supports reflection and the early stages of visionary thinking
Embodied wisdom practice: A live embodiment class to connect with your intuition and align yourself with your body’s wisdom.
Set intentions for your work & leadership: Leave with a clear, grounded sense of how you want to show up this year
Why this workshop is different
This isn’t about rushing into action, getting shit done or exhausting yourself with endless planning.
You're often told to push harder and hustle more, and you get stuck in a loop of overextending, thinking you have to match the speed of others.
But that way of doing business burns too many brilliant women like you out and steals the joy from your success.
What if the very thing that sets you apart is your natural rhythm ... your ability to ebb and flow with your energy rather than fight against it?
As women, our cycles - whether hormonal, energetic, or emotional - hold deep wisdom. Instead of hustling to exhaustion, you have the ability to tune into those rhythms and work from a place of alignment.
Women who work with their energy flow inspire more, achieve more, and stay in the game longer.

Is This for You?
This workshop is for female founders and leaders who are:
Tired of the endless hustle and seeking a new way of working
Reflecting on your next chapter and wanting to feel in control of where you are headed
Craving space to pause and reflect within an intimate group setting of like-minded women
These workshops are a profound experience of reconnecting with your body and learning to listen to its wisdom rather than just living in your head.

FAQs
Got some questions? Here are the answers.
Who are these workshops for?
These embodied wisdom workshops are designed for women business founders and entrepreneurs who feel overwhelmed by their workload at times, have a habit of saying yes to too many projects, and are curious to find a better flow with their work.
If you're ready to break free from the cycle of constant busyness and find a sustainable way to succeed, this is for you.
Do I need any prior knowledge or experience with embodiment?
No prior experience is needed. These are beginner sessions to introduce you to the concept of embodied success. All exercises are accessible for anyone looking to create a more aligned and fulfilling approach to work.
I have mobility and/or energy issues - can I still join?
Yes, absolutely. The embodiment part of these workshops isn't performances or choreographed dance classes; all exercises can be done seated while still receiving the same benefits.
That said, my invitation to you is to ensure you know your limits and complete the workshop within your energy and mobility levels.
What makes these different from other productivity and business workshops?
Unlike typical business workshops, these workshops focus on embodied success; working with your natural energy and rhythms instead of pushing against them. It’s about sustainable success that honours your wellbeing, not just getting more done.
Will there be a recording?
Yes, although the embodiment section won't be recorded.
This is to create a safe space and remove any barriers to feelings of self-consciousness. As this work can feel uncomfortable, even for those who have been doing it for a while, knowing there is no recording can hugely help with this.
This is why we recommend that you attend live rather than book a place to watch later, as you may do with other business workshops.
Will I have to have my camera on?
It’s important for me, as your facilitator, to see you during the session, especially during our embodiment exercises so that I can ensure you are moving in the right way for each exercise.
I know how uncomfortable this work can feel if you've never experienced this before, especially on Zoom. I promise this is a safe space without judgment or expectations. If you don’t want to see yourself, which can help with any self-conscious thoughts, you can turn off your self-view in your Zoom settings once you join the call.
What should I expect from the session?
After a warm welcome from me, I will start with a short teaching session, followed by visioning and journalling work, before we begin the embodied movement part.
During this part of the workshop, you’ll be invited to turn off your mics (this is a no-speaking part of the class). We will work through a series of exercises to experience how to move your body with the music, follow your rhythms and flow, and open yourself up to creating new neuropathways in your body.
These sessions aren’t a performance nor designed to be fitness sessions, although you may be delighted with how your mobility improves, nor do you have to follow any routines or steps. If you do have any mobility issues, please let me know at the start.
Where should I join you?
All these workshops are being held over Zoom, so be in a room where you know you won't be disturbed and a space big enough to move your arms around and take a few steps in; the width and length of two yoga mats is perfect.

I don't typically let my guard down in a "work" space like that, or really in general, so to be able to experience a profound emotional experience and feel safe doing so is a definite testament to you, Karen, and the safe space, expertise, and ability to be yourself permission you give the group.

I am consciously slowing down. I am trying hard not to rush as much and enjoying going slower. The workshop was perfectly timed and it has helped with clarity around the next steps and growing my business.

You have a lovely way of holding space, and I felt very comfortable. The shaking off/getting rid of unwanted emotions was powerful, as was the drawing things in - that was quite lovely.

I felt a little self-conscious about whether I was doing it ‘right’ and whether what I was wearing was okay, but I realised how good it was to move and feel the music.
ABOUT
Hey, I'm Karen
I’m a business strategist, leadership mentor, sound healing and embodiment practitioner with 30+ years of commercial experience and two decades of running consulting and leadership companies.
My operations background and strategic thinking blend beautifully with my deep connection to using intuition and embodied wisdom, a rare combination of skills in the world of business and leadership.
Having experienced peri-meno-burnout in my 40s, I know the dangers of having the wrong kind of business and pushing too hard to achieve goals that weren’t right for me, especially as a woman working through her menopause with our ever-increasing pace of business and life.
I’m now in my mid-50s, on a mission to end the destructive path many female business leaders and founders are on, where the only choices seem to be push on or drop out, and to show them how to embrace a new rhythm and flow in their professional and personal lives to fulfil their full potential.
