I discovered this podcast and feel like I found my tribe! As a mother and author, it's hard to find anyone in my immediate circle who can relate to what it's like to juggle both parenthood and your writing passion. I highly recommend this podcast as a source of support that both educates and uplifts!

This podcast is my happy place!! It is entertaining and inspiring. It makes me feel like I can really do this writing thing!! It also helps me feel way less crazy on the mom side of things!

PODCAST HOST
Erin P.T. Canning
Erin has worked for more than 15 years as an editor, encouraging each writer’s individual voice and strengthening their writing goals.
After dedicating six years of her life to motherhood, Erin started writing again. One journal entry led to one blog post that led to her creating her podcast, formerly known as Parents Who Write.
She finished her own messy first draft and published her first book, Ruins and Redemption, in 2023. Book One celebrates Erin taking herself off the shelf and making her own dreams come true.
Now, she helps other aspiring and newer authors do the same.
She earned her BA in Literature from The American University and MA in Writing from Johns Hopkins University. She lives with her husband and their two boys in Maryland.
