Heritage & Awareness Calendar: Google Removed Them—So We Made Our Own

Google has quietly removed Black History Month, Pride Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, and other important cultural observances from its default Google Calendar. While we attempted to research exactly what was removed, there’s no full list available. But what we do know is this: These dates matter. They honor the history, contributions, and identities of diverse communities. And they deserve to be recognized.

That’s why we created the Heritage & Awareness Calendar—a simple, easy-to-add Google Calendar that ensures you never miss these important cultural moments again.

This calendar includes 22 key dates—covering heritage & cultural months, awareness days, and observances that uplift BIPOC, LGBTQ+, immigrant, and other historically marginalized communities.

🔔 Don’t use Google Calendar? No problem! We’ve got you covered. When you sign up, you’ll also receive a full list of all 22 dates, so you can manually add them to your preferred calendar software or even write them into your planner.

At Nadi Marketing,

We Stand for People—Not Just Profits

As corporations quietly align with policies that roll back DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) initiatives, we’re taking a stand. At Nadi Marketing, we believe in supporting BIPOC communities and prioritizing DEIB+ (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging). That’s why we’ve created two free resources to make a difference:

📌 The Heritage & Awareness Calendar – Ensuring these important dates remain visible and celebrated.

📌 Tidal Pages – A free directory of BIPOC-owned businesses in San Diego, making it easier to support local, diverse entrepreneurs. Explore Tidal Pages →

By signing up for the Heritage & Awareness Calendar, you’ll also be added to Nadi Marketing’s bi-monthly newsletter, where we share impactful marketing insights, resources, and ways to build meaningful partnerships. We respect your inbox—no spam, just value. You can unsubscribe at any time.
