Tired of cookie-cutter training plans that don’t fit your life (or your body)?
It’s time for a smarter, more inclusive way to train—one that works with your physiology, your schedule, and your goals.
The Further Faster Revolution is here to help you build strength, endurance, speed, and confidence without burnout, overwhelm, or sacrificing the joy of cycling.
And best of all? You’ll finally be in a space where you feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
As a coach my passion is to empower other people of colour, women and other marginalised genders through cycling, helping them achieve awesome things on the bike. I believe representation truly matters.
It’s time to do things differently.

You're so tired of ...
🚴🏽♀️ ... being last on the climbs, not seeing the progression you want, riding every week, but still not seeming to improve
🚴🏽♀️ ... feeling isolated always being the only one that looks like you in your local cycling group, or on the start line of organised events.
🚴🏽♀️ ... unsolicited bro-advice and training plans designed for someone with endless free time and zero responsibilities.
And still seeing zero progression, struggling to stay consistent or find advice that relates to you??
If you’re nodding along, I see you. You’re not the problem —traditional cycling training is.
So you tried...
🚴🏽♀️ trawling though online training advice and generic training plans but it left you wondering how others managed to fit in so many rides in every week AND work full time AND keep up with family commitments
🚴🏽♀️ joining a local cycling club but all you got was advice that just didn't seem right for you (unsolicited mansplaining 😬 eeesshh)
🚴🏽♀️ going alone. You thought maybe you should just DIY your own training plan, but you struggled to stay consistent and wasn't sure what you should be doing one week to the next
OMGosh, is it supposed to be this hard???
When is all this effort going to actually going to make you feel stronger on the hills, and keep up with your faster riding buddies without feeling like you're gonna bust a lung??? 🥵🥵🥵

Imagine ...
🚴🏽♀️ ... having a training schedule that feels maintainable, that doesn't make you feel guilty for taking time for yourself, or feel like you're making sacrifices in other areas in your life, that feels balanced and manageable, and allows you to stay consistent and healthy
🚴🏽♀️ ... following a training plan you know you can trust to get you to where you need to be for your event, designed for your physiology, progresses at a rate that's right for you, where you can see the results, week on week, as you conquer hills and keep up with your faster cycling buddies
🚴🏽♀️ ... being in a community where you feel safe to ask questions, where you are seen and celebrated, where you feel empowered seeing other cyclists that look like you
🚴🏽♀️ ... standing on the start line of your event, feeling the strongest you've ever been, knowing that you've done the work so you can confidently face all the challenges ahead.
Sound too good to be true?

What Veloqi clients are saying

I chose Alison because of the inclusion aspect clearly advertised. I was nervous as I felt coaching was only really for proper athletes, but from the first enquiry I was made to feel like my goals mattered and were important enough to get support!

I’ve valued many things but especially the structured plan, regular check ins, the firm but fair challenge, Alison's honest appraisal, and most of all I felt supported and really like she is in my corner, pushing me on when I didn’t feel confident enough and celebrating the successes.

I’ve recently completed a trip which I absolutely never ever felt possible, that challenged me on every single front. The advice on nutrition, hydration, training and confidence building was a game changer. I couldn’t have done it with out Alison’s coaching

Hey, I'm Coach Alison
Why I Built This (and Why It’s Different)
I coach every day people, just like you, for endurance cycling events, creating training plans that fit around even the busiest work and family schedules. I see their confidence getting boosted, as they become stronger cyclists, whilst staying healthy and injury free, and still having time for family and socialising.
Back in 2017, after a time away from racing due to serious ill health, I wanted to get race fit again. I had previously tried to DIY my training and managed to qualify for the 2015 World Amateur Time Trial final in Denmark (fulfilling a life long dream of competing in GB kit!!), but I struggled to stay consistent and see the results I wanted.
This time I decided to make the investment and hire a coach.
At the time I was going through a bereavement AND studying full time for my Cycling Performance degree for a dramatic career change. They created a plan for me, but found I was constantly exhausted. Not only did I stop seeing improvements, I actually started to lose strength and power. I was getting closer and closer to physical and emotional burnout. They just didn't understand all the other stresses in my life, or how my body was responding after being so ill, AND heading into the perimenopause.
When I became a coach myself, a couple of years later, I made a promised that I would never let my clients experience this.
I have developed a different approach to training and coaching, that's proven to work, time and time again, incorporating what I've learned from my own experiences.
👉🏽 Here I am in 2016, not long out of hospital, barely able to walk, collecting a Eastern Counties medal earned the previous year.

Here are the four principles that provide the foundations of the Further Faster Success Pathway, as well as all my programs
🚴🏽♀️ We are not robots. Training needs to work with your life, not against it. We can't just start following a training plan without first assessing our lifestyle, work and family commitments and without creating a sustainable training schedule
🚴🏿♀️ More miles ≠ better results. Smart training beats suffering every time. Understanding an individuals requirements for rest and recovery are key for consistent progression, staying healthy and avoiding injury and burnout
🚴🏼♀️ Making faster easier - a time efficient approach to training. By using science backed protocols, incorporating gender specific sport science, every workout, every week and every training block can be optimised so that you are training smarter, not longer
🚴🏾♀️ Gender matters. Most plans ignore the impact of hormones, energy cycles, and recovery needs.
Over the years of coaching a wide range of cyclists I noticed I was repeating the same advice for each of them, regardless of what they were training for. This meant I could create a system to ensure all my clients were ready achieve their goals, and you can use it too! Let me introduce you to that system, the Further Faster Success Pathway.
The proven system to help you become a stronger, faster, healthier and happier cyclist, no matter where you are in your cycling journey, or what your cycling goals are

Meet Vera
Vera was introduced to leisure cycling by her now husband, Matt. She came across the Ultra Distance Scholarship, calling out for applicants in its very first year, and on a whim, decided to apply. Her application made a huge impression on me and the scholarship founder, Taylor, and we chose her as our first UDS winner. Then the hard work started!
The challenge was to prepare Vera for her first ultra distance race, when she currently hadn’t yet done her first century ride. The focus of her training program in the first few months was to let her body become accustomed to structured training. It was important to not throw Vera into high volume weeks and risk burnout and injury. Together, Vera and I created a training scheduled that fitted around her work and family commitments, flexing around changes and special occasions, dynamically adjusting the plan in response to how her body was responding.
The strength and conditioning program was started and we introduced midweek interval rides. These activities helped her become a stronger and faster cyclist. We then moved on to preparing her body for multiday rides, with back to back rides. These were a combination of interval workouts, short hard rides and endurance rides, as she rarely had time to spend the whole weekend on the bike. Once Vera was accustomed to the structured training we focused on optimising her mindset, nutrition and strategy for the event, with event simulation rides and regular reflections and reviews.
By following my approach Vera reached the finish line of her first ultra, the challenging 1400km Pan Celtic Race! She said she had tough days but felt strong post race, and didn’t seem to experience the same recovery needs others in the race had reported.

WHAT THE MEMBER'S SAY

"Alison was recommended and is brilliant"
I tried a couple of cycling coaches before Alison and they both assumed a high level of knowledge which if I'd had I wouldn't need a coach for. Alison was recommended and is brilliant - her coaching is clear, accessible and evidence-based. Alison also builds her training plan around other commitments and availability, and she's built a diverse and inclusive community that feels very welcoming too.

I AM A DISRUPTOR

I can't fix all this alone, but perhaps by creating a space which nurtures and encourages more diverse cyclists to do awesome things, it will be harder for us to be ignored.
Not just words, or token gestures, it takes action to improve diversity and gender equality in cycling, which is why I get involved with ventures like the Women Of Colour Cycling Collective, Ride for Unity, the Black Unity Bike Ride and Alliance, the Ultra Distance Scholarship, and why I create the Further Faster Revolution.
I'm on a mission to change the cycling community, to disrupt the current patriarchal system through my passion for cycling. I hope to guide every person of colour, woman, and LGBTQ+ community members on a path of self empowerment through achieving audacious cycling goals.
There is a painful lack of diversity throughout cycling, affecting the decisions made that affect us all. From the way British Cycling tutors treat grassroots coaches to government level decisions on travel infrastructure, from cycling industry boardrooms of singular demographics to abysmally poor kit sizing for differently shaped women.

What Equipment Do I Need?

MINIMUM
All you need to start is your bike, your body, and a bit of space for strength workouts. The training library includes guidance on using whatever setup you have—whether it’s bike commutes, home workouts, or a basic home gym corner. Advanced strength programs may require extra equipment or gym access, but you can progress without a fancy setup.
Bike computer and sensors
Tracking your rides is essential for progress. A GPS app (like Komoot or Ride with GPS) or a cycling computer, plus a heart rate monitor, will help fine-tune your training. I’ll show you how to use this data effectively. A cadence sensor is also a very useful upgrade.
Local Cycling Group or Club
The Further Faster Revolution community has your back, but joining a local club is another great way to learn, push your limits, and have fun.
RECOMMENDED
Indoor Cycling
Controlled interval workouts accelerate progress. Whether it’s a gym bike, spin class, or home turbo setup, an indoor option lets you join Further Faster virtual rides and workouts.
Resistance Equipment
After completing the 12-week Conditioning Program, continuing strength training requires home weights or gym access. If you're new to lifting, working with a trainer initially is a smart move—good technique prevents injuries and ensures results.
NICE TO HAVE
Virtual cycling platform
Zwift and similar platforms are great training tools. To join FFR group rides, you just need an indoor setup and WhatsApp for voice chat—though rides will also be on Zwift and Training Peaks Virtual (included in FF Premium!).
Fitness Tracker
More data = smarter training. Tracking all your activities, on and of the bike, lets you optimise your training in Training Peaks—I’ll guide you through it so it stays simple.
Power Meter
Some swear by them, but they’re not essential for long-distance cycling. That said, if data motivates you, a power meter could be the perfect upgrade.

It's just £39 (US $49/€47) a month, or you can upgrade to the premium membership which is £97 (US $124/€115) per month
There's a steep learning curve with most of these platforms, plus they are only as good as the information database behind the algorithms. I've found that they miss the latest gender specific sport science, and don't cope very well when life interrupts your training! There's just no substitute for the human touch ;)
Absolutely! The library of training plans includes options for outdoor rides only, plus there's guides on how to make the most of your bike commutes or short midweek rides, gym bikes and spin classes. You'll also be an active member of the community in group chat and regular live video calls.
The sooner you start training the fitter and better prepared you'll be for your event! Believe me, panic training in the last few months or weeks before your event will just have you exhausted and flustered on the start line. Let's make a start now
Well, I really hope so! I try to keep up with the latest in endurance sport science, and incorporate it into my coaching where I thinks it's appropriate. Sometimes having a coach, mentor and community there to support you can make all the difference. This is definitely about more than just the training, but being empowered by the community, to share, encourage and be supported.
There's no start date. This is a rolling membership. Whenever you join you'll have access to all the content and recorded live calls. During the live calls, and in the group community space, you can ask any questions regardless of where you are in your training and preparation. I recommend joining now to take advantage of the founders bonuses!
I'll be available in the community to answer all of your questions, plus, you'll have the opportunity once a month to sit in the Hot Seat during the live Q&As. Premium members have weekly check ins with me through the app to help keep them on course.
I've found that the Further Faster Success Pathway works regardless of the distance of the event you're training for. The problems you face are just the same, and every lesson is just as applicable. Wherever you are in your cycling journey, you are welcome to join the Revolution
Once you sign up you'll be fed into my automatic onboarding system. You'll be sent an email with instructions for your first steps, a link to the community and access to the app where you'll find all the lessons published so far.
There will be help every step of the way in setting up your training plan and tech on the Training Peaks platform, but there are also lessons that show you how to build your own plans low tech style, if that's what you prefer. The strength & conditioning plans are on the Endurance Cycling app, and are super easy to follow.
This is the value of the Further Faster Revolution. It's all about creating a training schedule that works for you, and learning the most effective and efficient ways to improve your cycling in the time you have. I got you ;)
Within the first 7 days you can claim a full refund, no questions asked! After the 7 days, please email me. I want the Revolution to provide you with what you need to improve your cycling, so if it's not, as a founding member, I'd love to chat to find out why it's not working for you.
