The Blomqvist's Floorball Donation Page
We have both been drafted to play floorball for Canada's National Teams. It is an honour for us to represent Canada and play the sport we both love.
And, we need your help! We are raising funds to cover the costs of tournament participation and travel (from Sweden) for upcoming training camps, North American qualification games, and international tournaments.

Ian Blomqvist, 19 yrs
I have played floorball for about ten years, and I am currently playing at the senior level in my local club, Lindome IBK, in Sweden. I am dedicated and work hard in my own performance, and by refereeing floorball's next generation of players.
My goal is to become the best that I can be and fully reach my potential. My goal with Team Canada is also to help develop and spread awareness of the sport and inspire new players to be a part of this amazing sport and organization, Floorball Canada.
Emelie Blomqvist, 17 yrs
I have played floorball for about eleven years. I have loved every second of playing this sport. I play for Lindome IBK in Sweden. Next season, we are advancing a "level" and will play against more developed team. This will challenge me and help me improve my game. I am very excited about that.
What I am most proud and excited about is playing for Team Canada. The friends I have met through floorball in Canada are those I hope I will know forever.
Playing for Canada's national team means representing and spreading floorball in the country. I am honoured to be able to do that.
Why donate?
Canadian Floorball National Teams do not receive any government funding and all costs are up to the individual players to cover. All coaching & support staff are working on a voluntary basis.
We look forward to helping floorball grow and develop in Canada. We are proud to represent Canada on the international scene and become one of the leading non-European floorball nations.

What is floorball?
Floorball is an exciting, fast-paced game focused on highly skilled play. Similar to hockey, the sport is played on a court with five players and a goalie on at a time. Floorball is one of the fastest growing sports in North America and is already a major international game in many European countries, especially in Sweden.
