A free 2-hour masterclass for yoga teachers & healthcare professionals
Wednesday 18th March 2026, 14:00-16:00 UTC, Live on Zoom & Recorded
Includes replay access for 3 days
Cancer treatment can trigger sudden, medically-induced menopause and fertility loss often with intense physical, emotional, and psychological effects. Yet many yoga teachers feel unsure how to support students navigating these changes.
This 2-hour live masterclass offers a compassionate, practical introduction to understanding medical menopause in the cancer context and how yoga can provide meaningful, trauma-sensitive support.
This session also serves as an experiential taster of my 12-week Yoga for Cancer Teacher Training, while being a powerful standalone learning experience in its own right.
What You’ll Learn:
During this live workshop, we’ll explore:
How cancer treatments can cause menopause (including chemotherapy, surgery, hormone therapy, and radiotherapy)
Why menopause is not limited to gynaecological cancers
The key differences between natural and medically-induced menopause
The holistic impact on women — physically, emotionally, hormonally, and psychologically
Common symptoms experienced after treatment
How yoga can support regulation, symptom management, and emotional wellbeing
This is not just theoretical learning — you’ll also be guided through experiential elements so you can feel and understand the practices yourself.
Who This is For:
This masterclass is ideal for:
Yoga teachers who want to safely support students affected by cancer treatment
Teachers interested in oncology-informed, trauma-aware approaches
Professionals curious about training in Yoga for Cancer
Teachers wanting to deepen their understanding of women’s health in clinical contexts
No prior oncology knowledge is required.
Live Q&A Session
The final 30 minutes will be an open Q&A space where you can ask questions, share reflections, or explore real-world teaching scenarios.
This portion will not be recorded to allow a safe, open, and confidential space for discussion.
