The Salesforce HBCU Procurement Internship Program, in partnership with Tech Forward, is an opportunity for top students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to gain valuable work experience in the procurement departments of leading companies. By participating in this program, companies can play a vital role in diversifying their workforce and supporting the next generation of procurement professionals. Participating companies will host an intern for a 10-12 week period and provide mentorship and opportunities for skill development in procurement. We are excited to offer this unique program and invite companies to join us in our mission to support and develop the HBCU community
The interns participating in the Salesforce HBCU Procurement Internship Program will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the procurement field. They will work alongside experienced professionals and learn about the various aspects of procurement, including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management.
Throughout the internship, interns will be exposed to real-world challenges and projects, giving them the chance to apply what they have learned in the classroom to a professional setting. They will also have the opportunity to network with industry professionals and gain valuable insights into the procurement field.
In addition to practical experience, interns will also have the opportunity to develop important skills such as problem-solving, communication, and collaboration. They will learn how to work effectively in a team, manage timelines, and prioritize tasks.
By participating in the Salesforce HBCU Procurement Internship Program, interns will gain a competitive edge in their future careers and will have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to the companies they will be interning with.
