Ready to strength train in a way that works with your hypermobility—not against it? This small-group expert-led workshop will teach you how to train smarter, avoid plateaus, and unlock sustainable progress—whether you're new to strength training or a seasoned gym-goer.

After an info-packed morning, Movement & Mindset coach Karima Adi (who’s trained me for 10+ years!) will join for a dedicated lower body strength training masterclass in the afternoon. Together, we’ll break down the most common mistakes hypermobile folks make in the gym—and exactly how to fix them.

Perfect for you if:
✔ You can exercise but hit a wall when trying to build muscle and gain strength
✔ You want to start strength/resistance training but worry about how to adapt it to your uniquely hypermobile body.
✔ You’re experienced but want evidence-based techniques to fast-track gains safely.

What past workshop guests are saying

If you think you might be hypermobile or are at the start of your journey with hypermobility, you definitely want to attend this workshop. If you know you're hypermobile but don't know what to do about it, Alex's workshop will have insight for you.

-Jo

I’ve never felt so understood at a workshop. Alex truly "gets" hypermobility—every detail (seating options, air conditioning, accessible venue, food options) was designed for our bodies. I left equipped with practical strategies I could use immediately.

-Hannah

Alex helped me to connect the dots and understand my symptoms, so I can plan ahead to manage them and live a lifestyle I love. I feel so much more body literate and connected to the hypermobile community after this workshop!

FAQ

Don't worry, we got you. Here are some answers for your questions.

To get the most from this workshop, you’ll ideally be able to:
✔ Perform a partial-depth squat (even if just a few inches, for example you're able to sit/stand from a high chair)
Bend at the waist ("hip hinge")—like a gentle forward fold or picking something up safely

Not there yet? No problem! We’ll be starting from the ground up—literally—with scaled options to help you build toward these movements. Whether you’re rebuilding strength or refining technique, you’ll leave with a clear roadmap for a stronger, more functional lower body.

All ticket sales are final. However, if your plans change or if you have an unexpected health issue occur, you can request a 50% refund—no questions asked—any time before the event. Just reach out, and I'll process it promptly.

This policy helps me keep workshops small and focussed while offering flexibility for the reality of living with chronic health issues.
