Looking for some more inspiration in your homeschool this year?
Want to learn about a variety of topics but not sure how to introduce them?
Living an awesome unschooling life but not sure what you can suggest to your kids when they're stuck for ideas?
I've got you covered!
Hello!
I'm Sara. I've been unschooling my 4 daughters (aged 9-15) since they were born. Over that time we've learned so many wonderful things together and they are such joyful, inspired learners. Yep, even the teens.
I put that down to our values of freedom, respect, and ample time to explore their interests!
Does that mean I don't play a role? Nope! I'm all about intentional unschooling here and I'm often coming up with ideas and activities to suggest for them.
Over this time I've become pretty good at working out what works and what doesn't, and honed my skills in providing them with plenty of opportunities to discover new interests and try new things.
Now, I'd love to help you do the same by sharing my ideas and the things we are doing in our own home regularly! If this is an area you'd like some more support in, read on...

Introducing...
'Inspiration Is Here!'
A monthly subscription where you get my homeschooling ideas for the week delivered straight to you! Each week you will receive an email with at least 2 ideas you can offer your children in the coming week. That's a minimum of 8 ideas every month to inspire creativity, spark curiosity, and introduce new experiences.
These will be things that I'm also offering my own children, and I'd love to help take the pressure off you at the same time.
Life is busy, and sometimes it's hard to always be the ideas person! I'm so happy to help with that.
These ideas are designed to spark curiosity, joy, and wonder. I think our job is to show our children the possibilities, while it's their job to find which things light them up. So, let's do it!
What does the subscription include?
Weekly emails
Weekly emails with activities you can use in your homeschool in the coming week. Delivered on a Friday so you have time to prepare for the week ahead. A minimum of 8 activities per month (2 each week).
Variety of ideas
A variety of different activities. Nope, not just all arts and crafts. Ideas are based on real-world events, historical figures, scientific concepts, life skills, literature, math, self-care, emotional intelligence, and even fun celebrations like International Chocolate Day.
Multiple Ages
Activities are designed for children aged 8+. I'm using these with my own children so you can expect some simple explorations with options included for deeper dives for older kids and teens.
Got Questions?
Don't worry, we got you. Here are some answers for your questions.
Is this suitable for any homeschool style?
Yes! The activities are suitable for any type of homeschooler or unschooler. Use them however you like. You can follow them exactly, or take them in a completely new direction. They are designed to spark curiosity and interest, and are often open-ended. Personally, I suggest using them as a kind of 'strewing' and offering the activities as options for your children to use if they like.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes! Subscriptions are paid monthly and you can cancel whenever you like.
Do I need special materials for the activities?
Most activities are designed to use common household items. If any special materials are needed, I’ll let you know in advance so you can prepare.
Is this a curriculum for the year?
Not at all! These ideas will not have you covered for homeschooling for the whole year. In our home, the girls have their own projects and interests going on, and these ideas are an optional extra for them. Activities created by me are one small part of our homeschooling week. They love it when I have an idea for them when they are not sure what to do, or just a fun surprise to start the week. It feels like love!
The point of these activities is to introduce things they might not have come across before, give them options for when they're looking for something to do, opportunities to practice life skills, or just plain fun and enjoyment. Think of these activities as a form of strewing—placing intriguing opportunities in their path for them to discover on their own. It's about sparking curiosity and providing inspiration without pressure, allowing children to explore at their own pace and follow their interests.
How long do the activities take to complete?
Activities are designed to be flexible. Some may take 15-30 minutes, while others can be extended for longer, in-depth exploration depending on your child’s interest.
Can I share these activities with friends or in my co-op?
The subscription is for personal use, but you’re welcome to enjoy the activities with your family or small group. If your friends love them, encourage them to subscribe too!
Will there be digital resources or printables included?
Yes, many activities will include printable resources and/or relevant resource recommendations for you.
Will the activities include digital screen time?
While some activities may suggest online resources for further info, the majority focus on hands-on, offline learning experiences.
