Accommodation
There is a range of accomodation at the venue. Additionally there is varying levels of accomodation city wide in Edinburgh.
- Holland House - a private bedroom with ensuite bathroom
- Residences – a private bedroom with a shared bathroom (each bathroom is shared with 2 bedrooms) with breakfast included.
- KMI Appartments - located just a short walk from the campus, these are self contained self-catering appartments
There are also two hotels in the campusl that are available to book:
- The Scholar Hotel – Bed and breakfast from £200 per night
- The Scot 4* Hotel – Bed and breakfast from £343 per night (pictured)

No, it is not. Your Conference ticket includes all classes throughout the week, opening night dinner, and lunch every day. It does not include accommodation or travel costs.
Yes, your conference price includes: Opening night dinner, lunch every day, and daily tea & coffee breaks. Any other meals are not included. If you choose to stay at the venue, your accommodation costs include breakfast every morning.
Yes, there will be free Wi-Fi available for all IVACON attendees, and free Wi-Fi in the bedrooms is offered as standard.
You will have an IVA Pedagogy path you follow through the schedule. For the rest of the classes, you attend all general sessions and choose which Elective classes to attend during the week.
When registering for a Private Lesson, you may request a specific teacher, and we will do our best to accommodate you. However, we cannot guarantee that your lesson will be with that person due to the scheduling demands of IVACON classes. The Private Lesson schedule will be available at IVACON. Announcements are made each day with any updates and you will be responsible for finding out when and where your lesson/s will be and remembering to attend them!

Cancellation and Refund Policy
You may cancel your participation in IVACON 2024 at any time; however, please be aware of the following cancellation policy:
- If you cancel before March 1, 2024, you will receive a 100% refund of the registration fee (minus a $50 admin fee)
- If you cancel between March 1 and April 30, 2024, you will receive a 50% refund of your registration fee (minus a $50 admin fee)
- If you cancel after April 30, 2024, you are not eligible for a refund
