Are you feeling this too?

Are you a spiritual white woman who feels horrified — heartbroken — by what’s unfolding across the U.S. and the globe?

Do you feel the ache of confusion, the fire of outrage, as you witness the relentless disregard for life, the cruelty, the grasping for power at all costs?

Are you wondering how we got here, how we heal, and where we go from here?

You're not alone.

What is Unbecoming “Karen”?

Unbecoming “Karen” is a movement — and a practice — for white women (and those raised or socialized as such) who are ready to face the uncomfortable truths of their own conditioning and move through it, together.

Unbecoming “Karen” is a podcast dedicated to healing the harmful and deeply rooted white supremacist programming that lives within all of us. And in doing so, open possibilities for a future free from harm and full of care.

Hosted by three white women healers, we are committed to doing our own work — unlearning toxic and repressive programming and creating space for new possibilities as we dive deep into the uncomfortable truth of our histories, values, beliefs and choices.

We’re here to hold space for the messy, imperfect process of healing, honoring the fact that no one has it all figured out. And that the only way to find our way forward is together.

Through candid conversations and quantum healing practices, we share the challenges of confronting our triggers, addressing discomfort, and learning to move through the “squirmy” nature of this work with humor and embodiment.

As we walk this path ourselves, we are:

🔥 Facing hard truths.

🌀 Unlearning deeply embedded programming.

💗 Reclaiming love, intuition, and ancestral wisdom.

Healing cannot happen in isolation.

It will take all of us — across identities, lineages, beliefs and lived experiences — to co-create a truly liberated world.

This space is specific, but not exclusive.

ABOUT US

Why “Karen”?

According to Merriam-Webster, Karen is “a slang term used to disparage a stereotypically middle-class, middle-aged white woman who rebukes or reports others in angry, sometimes racist public displays. More generally, it is an insult for anyone, though still typically a woman, who shows entitled behavior, especially in the form of outspoken complaints or intrusive criticism.”

We use the term Karen not to shame or mock, but to name and dismantle the patterns of fear, entitlement, and control that many of us have unconsciously inherited — patterns that cause harm and uphold systems of oppression.

And to be clear: we mean no disrespect to people named Karen.

We know and love many who are thoughtful, kind, and nothing like the stereotype. This is not about a name — it's about a behavior, a system, and a culture we are committed to healing.

A truth that can be hard to face:

We all carry programming that brought us here.

Much of it was handed to us by family, faith communities, school systems, media, and culture — and most of it lives beneath the surface. But until we bring it into conscious awareness, we can’t truly choose something new.

Our personal and collective beliefs, values, and behaviors have played a role — not out of malice, but out of conditioning. This is not about shame. It’s about the power of becoming conscious, so we can move with integrity, care, and courage.

What We’re Exploring:

Through candid conversations and quantum healing practices, we examine:

The historical and present-day impacts of patriarchy, toxic Christianity, homophobia, and white supremacy (systems of power and control) on our bodies, minds, and spirits

The ways fear, control, and repression live in our nervous systems and behaviors

The feminine archetypes, earth-honoring traditions, and inner truths that have been silenced or forgotten

We believe there's only so far we can go on our individual healing journeys before we must confront collective and ancestral trauma — and how that trauma continues to shape choices, identities, and systems today.

Who is this for?

While this conversation is directed toward spiritual white women, it is open to people of all backgrounds and identities.

We are calling in this particular demographic because it’s who we are, it's a 'space' we feel called to create for and with others — and because we know that true transformation must include those of us who have been both harmed by and complicit in systems like patriarchy, racism, and colonialism.

We speak especially to those who identify as spiritual — because that’s who we are, and it’s where many of our deepest gifts (and blind spots!) have revealed themselves.

It’s also where we’ve done some of our most profound healing around our own internalized white supremacy — and, at times, where we’ve caused unintended harm by upholding separation through spiritual bypassing, self-righteousness, or inaction.

Together, we’re unbecoming...

...the version of ourselves we were taught to be in order to survive.

...the layers of fear, superiority, silence, and guilt that keep us separate.

...the performative versions of “goodness” that don’t disrupt anything real.

We’re unbecoming so that we can become — rooted in truth, devoted to care, and willing to walk a new path.

Healing isn’t about perfection.
It’s about presence, humility, and commitment to the process — together.

You’re invited.
