Have you been learning English for years, decades, and you're still feeling you're not good enough?
You're not alone.
Language learning is a process that exposes our vulnerability.
We may have old learning trauma (yes, trauma, not an exaggeration), or old preconceptions within us that stop us from progressing.
Ever heard yourself say, "I'm not really good at learning languages"?
Well, that voice inside you may be someone else's.
Not yours.
Look Within will guide you through an exploration of your past as a learner.
Imagine having a free coach who asks you all the right questions, to help you understand:
what went wrong until now?
Can you solve a problem, when you don't know what that problem is?
Yeah, you can't.
Exactly.
Identify possible issues, imagine possible solutions.
Understand your past as a learner, to stop sabotaging yourself.
Find out what went wrong until now, and make it go right by changing your learning practice.
Identify the voice telling you "you're not good at this", so you can stop listening to it, and move on.
Ready to stop feeling stuck?
You can call me Pao!
I love languages and I love people.
My mission with Flowing English and The Mindful Learner is to coach as many people as possible into speaking English confidently, being kind to themselves while learning, and discovering a whole new world in the process.
During my almost two decades working as a teacher, I realised that very often, the issue behind someone's struggle with progressing and especially speaking English has nothing to do with English itself, but with people's learning experiences in the past.
And that's why I wrote this guide.
I hope you enjoy it.
