JAZAKUM ALLAHU KHAYR

Due to the nature of the event, we kindly request that this event remains a child-free gathering.

Be a part of our first on-site event, a unique gathering that addresses a topic often overlooked in our community. Join us for an insightful conversation with Ustadha Taimiyyah Zubair and Asma Ali (Liscenced Psychotherapist) as they guide us through a journey of healing and sharing insights on how to find peace amid grief and loss. It’s a journey that often feels isolating and overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be navigated alone. We invite you to join us for a *SISTERS ONLY* evening of interactive discussion and sharing stories as we all learn together how best to heal after loss.

Saturday June 29th | 6:00 - 8:30 PM

At Healing Together, we understand the multifaceted nature of grief, and we're committed to creating a safe and supportive space where muslimahs can come together to explore and unpack its realities. This event isn't just about coping; it's about understanding the intricacies of grief, finding hope and learning how to move forward with resilience and purpose.

This event is open to everyone, regardless of whether you've experienced grief firsthand. You will benefit by gaining a deeper understanding of how to support others in our community who may be grieving. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to learn valuable insights that can help you navigate difficult emotions and challenges in your own life.

In this event we will explore the following:

Insightful Perspectives:
Our Islamic scholar will offer profound insights rooted in both spiritual wisdom and psychological understanding, shedding light on the nature of grief from a holistic perspective.
Expert Guidance:
With the expertise of a licensed psychotherapist, you'll gain practical tools and strategies to navigate the emotional rollercoaster of grief with greater ease and resilience.

Hope and Healing:
Through shared stories, guided discussions, and compassionate guidance, you'll discover that healing is possible, and that there is light at the end of the tunnel, even in the darkest moments of grief.

This two part event will be divided into an Interactive Panel Discussion followed followed by a Healing Session.

Interactive Panel Discussion:
This is a deep dive into the islamic understanding of the journey of grief and examples of reactions to loss from our rich heritage. You will have the opportunity to ask your questions.

Healing Session:
We will divide into small groups, providing an opportunity to share your experience and learn from one another. Our goal is to create a safe space where you can share your reflections, build community, and find support through shared understanding.

Due to the nature of the event, we kindly request that this even remains a child-free gathering.
