Who is Khari X?

I’m Khari X (a.k.a. Khari R. Telesford), a screenwriter, playwright, and storyteller out of NYC with a thing for sharp dialogue, emotional landmines, and stories that bleed truth. The kind that don’t ask for your attention. They demand it.

It all started with a puppet plant that eats people. Little Shop of Horrors was my first love—campy, strange, theatrical in all the right ways. That gateway drug led me from grade school musicals to deep, soul-rattling Meisner work at the Ted Bardy Acting Studio (2021–2024), where I trained under Glenn Vincent and Ted Bardy. I sharpened those tools even further with Master Acting Coach Bob McAndrew.

On stage or on screen, I’ve played everything from detectives to the literal Devil (no metaphor there—soul selling contract included).
