About Lily and Lydia
From personal experience and conversations with other believers, we've noticed that there aren't a lot of places where Christian women can find high quality articles and lifestyle inspiration that aligns with their values.
We've also noticed that Christian creatives, business owners, and freelancers often find it challenging to connect with opportunities that allow them to live and work according to their faith.
Lily and Lydia seeks to fill that gap by creating a place for Christian women to be inspired without compromising their values, and a way for Christian business owners and freelancers to get published and eventually, to create a revenue stream that aligns with their values.

Meet the Editor
Amy Lawson is a photographer and creative entrepreneur. She made a profession of faith at the age of four, but like many young people, often questioned her salvation growing up. God used a college chapel message to help her realize that it was His grace, not her own words or strength of faith, that granted salvation.
After graduating from Bob Jones University in 2013 with an interior design degree, Amy married Brian Lawson and moved to Madison, Wisconsin. They currently reside in Madison and are actively involved in their local church.
Statement of Faith
God
There is only one true God. God has three distinct persons (the Trinity), the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 4:35, 39, Isaiah 46:9, John 17:3, Matthew 28:19, John 14:26)
The Bible
The Bible is the complete, inerrant, and sovereign Word of God and the sole source of truth.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Revelation 22:18-19)
Salvation
All men are sinners and deserve separation from God for eternity. There is only one way to heaven and that is through salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, a gift made possible by Jesus’ sacrificial death and subsequent resurrection from the dead three days later.

The Church
Christians should be a part of a local body of believers as modeled in the early church. (Hebrews 10:25)
Sanctity of Life & Equality
All lives, including the lives of the pre-born, are precious to God and equal in His sight. (Psalm 139:13-16)
Marriage & Family
God created two beautifully unique genders to fulfill unique but equal roles. God ordained marriage to be a sacred covenant between one man and one woman.

Creation
God created the universe from nothing in six literal days and rested on the seventh. (Genesis 1)
