Lunch Hour with Cycle Sprog
There are SO many wonderful projects and organisations doing brilliant things to get more families and children riding bikes. We would love to bring these people together, to network, learn from and encourage one another.
Our Lunch Hour sessions are split into two parts,
The first half of the session is an opportunity to hear from two experts in the topic area, whether that's someone running a successful programme, founder of a bike bus or an an expert campaigner. There will be chance to hear more about them and their work and ask questions.
The second half of the session allows time for more general networking and conversation in breakout rooms. This is an opportunity to meet new people working and volunteering in the world of family cycling, ask for support and ideas and share best practice.
Perhaps you are about to launch a new project and would like to know if anyone has done something similar (and can share their learning)! Or maybe you are looking for someone who has navigated funding applications or is wondering what kit to recommend when a parent turns up to your session with their child.
Our Lunch Hours with Cycle Sprog are for people working for charities, community groups and CIC's within the family cycling industry, as well as community leaders, volunteers, advocates, educators and campaigners.
The session aren't for brands, retailers or manufacturers - but please do get in touch if you'd like to support a future session.
We hope to build a strong and supportive community for people championing family cycling, and hope for people to join with a 'give more than you take' attitude.
