Have Questions Before You Start?
Don't worry, we got you. Here are some answers for your questions.
No — this guide is educational only. It’s designed to help you observe patterns and support the care plan you and your veterinarian build together. Always contact your vet if your pet’s symptoms worsen or you have concerns.
🩺 The goal is to help you understand your pet’s skin health — not replace your vet.
Can I start anytime, or do I need to wait for a specific date?
You can start the 28-Day Skin & Itch Reset anytime — it’s designed to fit around your pet’s needs and your schedule.
That said, the best time to begin is when you can stay consistent for about a month — ideally when there aren’t major travel plans or big diet or environment changes happening (like switching foods or moving homes). A little consistency helps you see the clearest patterns in your pet’s skin and comfort.
We also occasionally do the Reset together as a community on social media!
👉 Follow @TheKindVet for guided challenges, reminders, and weekly check-ins.
If you start your own Reset, we’d love to cheer you on —

✨ Whether you join the group or go at your own pace, the key is showing up for your pet’s skin health a little each day.
Every pet should have a regular veterinarian overseeing their care — even if their skin issues seem mild. This 28-Day Reset is meant to help you observe patterns and make your veterinary visits more productive, not replace medical care.
You should contact your vet or schedule an exam any time you notice:
Red, raw, or oozing skin
A bad odor coming from the ears, skin, or paws
Persistent licking, scratching, or chewing that interrupts sleep
Hair loss, thickened skin, or dark discoloration
Sudden swelling, hives, or face/ear puffiness
Behavioral changes like restlessness, pain, or loss of appetite
Even if your pet’s symptoms are mild, your veterinarian can rule out infections, parasites, or other conditions that may look like allergies.
🩺 This guide is for education and tracking only — it should always be used alongside your veterinarian’s recommendations.
Each resource builds on the last — helping you move from awareness to action, and finally to effortless tracking.
