What’s the difference between the Bootcamp and the Masterclass, and should I take both?
The Bootcamp is a four-day condensed overview of the fundamental areas a director needs to know to succeed.
The Masterclass is an in-depth, year-long course that covers 64 USDA Professional Standards in four guided sections: Nutrition, Administration, Operations, and Communications.
If you want to take the Bootcamp, you don't have to continue on to the Masterclass. However, if you want to join the Masterclass, the Bootcamp is a required prerequisite. And we'll waive your Bootcamp fee if you join the Masterclass!
The Bootcamp is a great way to assess and fill the gaps in your knowledge.
What will I learn in the Bootcamp, and will it be enough to manage my school nutrition program effectively?
The Bootcamp sets the foundation for managing your program effectively. It covers the basic USDA Professional Standards in Nutrition, Administration, Operations, and Communication, which are essential in being a successful director and managing your staff.
How is the Masterclass structured, and how much time will I need to dedicate to it each week?
Each topic is divided into 15-minute or less increments, so you can complete them at your own pace when time allows in your busy schedule.
We estimate students will want to spend 2-4 hours per week to complete this comprehensive, self-paced course.
What kind of support will I receive from the Masterclass Circle, and how does the private community work?
We will have monthly live Q & As and check-ins. Directors can connect with one another for support, share knowledge, and foster professional relationships.
Will these courses help me meet USDA Professional Standards and improve my program's compliance?
Yes! Directors must have at least 12 hours of training annually, which you will easily exceed in the Masterclass.
We are seeking CEU approval for registered dietitians through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
