I am a second generation Chinese Taiwanese American that was struggling with a dual cultural identity. I went to 9 different schools and felt like an outsider during every move. I was a people pleaser, an overachiever, and a perfectionist. At home, I was a problem child. I spoke too freely and was too loud. My expectations were to take care of my siblings, be my parent's retirement fund, and to repay my parents for their sacrifices.
From these demands, my identity was lost and I started to suppress my culture and heritage. The subtle comments that I heard from stereotypes and racist remarks subconsciously became my reality.
After years of being in corporate America - chasing promotions and higher-paid positions, I soon realized that I still feel incomplete and my career felt meaningless. I started to look deeper within and discovered life coaching and therapy to help process the pain that I have endure mentally and emotionally.
My passion is helping Asians own their own true identity, making empowered decisions, creating a mind, body, and spirit connection, creating freedom, and finding a harmony between multiple cultures.
