I didn’t always believe I could live in overflow.
I was the mother who tried to do everything right — the “perfect” teacher, the gentle parent, the woman who gave and gave until there was nothing left for herself.
And for a while, I wore that mask well. I smiled. I checked the boxes. I poured every drop of my energy into my children, my students, my roles…
Until one day, I cracked.
The version of me who had always strived to be everything for everyone collapsed under the weight of her own expectations. I was burnt out. Anxious. And painfully lost.
I didn’t know who I was outside of what others needed from me.
But my soul never stopped whispering.
She led me to a new path — a spiritual path of motherhood where I didn’t have to choose between being a mother and being me.
Where I could hold both sacred: my children and my calling. My family and my fire.
I started mothering from overflow, not depletion.
