What makes this checklist different?
All of my worldbuilding content is built around the idea of shaping a world around core values--both your values as the author and the values of the cultures within your world. Why? Because this focus enables you to build worlds that are internally consistent and that naturally support the themes in your storytelling! I believe that worlds should, nine times out of ten, serve as more than a backdrop for a story; your world should play a vital role in your character development and storytelling. Building cultures around core values makes this much easier than it would be otherwise!
Thus, the questions on the worldbuilding checklist--and the content within the mini-course--are meant to be approached with core values in mind. In fact, developing core values in the first place is one of the first lessons in the course, so you can learn how this idea works on a practical level.
