Bounty Unleashed is a monthly open mic open to any and all abilities. This is a safe space to share your poetry, songs, jokes and stories. It is a place to let your creativity run wild and to share what is within your heart.
The power of Poetry is a workshop that will be focusing of mental wellbeing.
Each week will focus on a different element, looking at how poetry can be used for mindfulness, to re-frame our thoughts and so much more. Exploring an art form that has ben around for over 5000 years!
In this workshop we will be exploring all different types of poetry forms. This is a relaxed workshop to learn and experiment with different types of poetry from Haikus to concrete poems to challenge ourselves as writers whilst having fun being creative.
If you have an interest in history, especially ancient history and classics then this will be the workshop for you! In this workshop we delve into the stories of the past, explore, dissect and use them as inspiration for our own piece of classical reception.
