Yes! 100%. I'm Heard is a nonprofit, and this initiative is to create more visibility for traditionally "unheard" people and orgs.

You can sign up here, or on I'm Heard's site.

We are a small team collaborating across organizations. We will publish each post on I'm Heard as soon as it is vetted. Our team will also contact the author for permission to share across other publications and media outlets.

Due to the bandwidth of volunteers, we are currently prioritizing autism advocates of color, as well as orgs that represent autistic POC worldwide. We do have plans to expand across neurodivergent communities, stay tuned!

Many advocates do not prioritize self-promotion or storytelling due to time or resource constraints. Multiply marginalized individuals often receive less media attention, and neurodivergent advocates with executive functioning difficulties may also not have the bandwidth to create a reader base or submit to publications with one.

Project Pebbles connects busy advocates with storytellers dedicated to sharing their unique perspectives with the world. We hope that it will lead to greater awareness and support for those with intersectional identities.
