Been there, done that and I hate it too!
Don't get me wrong, I've been to some great indoor networking events, I've also been to some shockers.
I'm looking for business owners in the Wakefield area (or who are willing to travel here) who are interested in taking their networking outside!
Whilst the concept of a “netwalk” is not new, it’s more natural and relaxed, allowing you to build deeper and more meaningful connections with the people you meet.
If you are a business owner looking to take your networking to a different level, think outside with some short activities to help you relax into the space, find calm and unleash your creative brain to land in you in the best space to form meaningful and useful connections with other business owners, Branching Out is for you!

Being in nature helps to relieve anxiety and doing a "normal" activity such as walking promotes ease and comfort.

When we are relaxed and in a safe space we allow ourselves the freedom of expression and to be our authentic selves, meaning we make deeper connections with people that go beyond the realms "what's your job and how does this help me?"!

Nature inspires awe!
There will be a mixture of walking and talking and short activities or invitations to provide structure, aid relaxation and evoke creativity.
You will return to your desk more relaxed and more productive, compared to rushing to city centre events!

We vary the location around the Wakefield area to keep in interesting and allow people from different to attend, details will be listed on the mailing list and by each booking on eventbrite
What about it? There's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing! In all seriousness, all venues are risk assessed so unless it's really icy or windy all events will go ahead, alternative venues may be used if required so check your emails if in doubt!
Whilst this is a great opportunity to get you and your furry friend outside, please bear in mind that we will be doing activities that; may involve being mindful and distraction free, or may require you to work with another person and a dog may not be conducive to this. Please also consider that not everyone is ok with dogs, if you do wish to bring your well behaved friend, it may be possible to accommodate this, please email me prior to the event and I will let you know at the earliest opportunity, but please do not be offended if it is not possible- thank you!
