15 Essential phrases for everyday life

Your guide to sounding local

Hey,

I am Elena and I am teaching Bulgarian. I help expats, digital nomads and foreigners to speak with ease, learn to read and communicate without feeling overwhelmed. I teach all ages and levels.

Bulgarian language is a gateway to gain more knowledge, expand your skills and connect with locals and family members. It has 30 letters and is from the group of the Indo-European languages. It was created by the brothers Cyril and Methodius. As unique as it is Bulgarian language also has some words from other languages:

Italian -biblioteka(библиотека)-library, change- resto(ресто), bye-chao(чао)

French-floor- etazh(етаж), ticket- bilet (билет), driver- shofjor(шофьор) and many more

English- computer- komputur (компютър), to download-downloadvam (свалям), to chat- chatia(чатя) and other computer/ phone/ technology related words

My work with expats helped me identify the need for structured words and phrases for everyday use. This led to creating my book 15 Essential phrases for everyday life with Elena Tutoring and Training. The book offers words for everyday use which are translated to English, a guide on how to pronounce it and how it is written in Bulgarian. It is designed to help with essential words and phrases which you use everyday and are fast to remember .
