The Southwest Region Conference Women’s Ministries Department is hosting a training workshop for Pentecost 2025, which is the 2025 Evangelism Initiative of the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists. This workshop, “Pentecost and More…Reaping God’s Harvest in 2025,” will take place this evening and tomorrow evening, January 4-5, via Zoom at 7:30 PM. All ladies of “The Dallas Project” are invited to join the virtual Sabbath Morning Manna Book Club each Sabbath morning at 6 AM. The book of study for this month is “Surrender All” by Christian Author and Motivational Speaker, Priscilla Shirer. Ms. Shirer’s book “War Room” inspired the movie by the same name. “The Dallas Project” Drama Team will be auditioning actors for the upcoming play, “What if It Were Today?” If you are interested in auditioning, please contact Gwen Dixon at [email protected].

Mid-Week Worship will resume and be held this upcoming Wednesday, January 8, at 7 PM. Please mark your calendars and plan to join us for the first Mid-Week Worship Service of the New Year.

On Sabbath, January 18, “The Dallas Project” will be having a very special Worship Experience in harmony with the Dr. Martin Luther King Holiday. Students from local area schools will be our guests as we reflect upon the life and legacy of Dr. King. Please invite your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers, especially those with students to join us for this special service.

Contribution receipts for 2024 will be available from our Treasury Department for pick-up on February 8, 2025. Church members can pick-up contribution receipts immediately following the Worship Experience on this date. Also, if church members would like their contribution receipts emailed to them, please make this request by emailing [email protected] and providing your name and preferred email address.

Every 1st and 3rd Sabbaths of the month, we have Children’s Church here at “The Dallas Project” for children ages three to ten in the Music Room. Children will be blessed by creative, innovative, and age-appropriate worship formats through our Children’s Church Program. For more information, please see Kathryn McNorton Edwards.

We are starting our Adventurer Club for children ages 6-9 here at “The Dallas Project!” If you’re interested in your child being a part of this exciting ministry, please contact Lorraine Saintus at 972.897.8426.

Summer Camp Counselors are needed to join the Lone Star Camp Staff in Athens, TX from June 1-23, 2025. Free Training is available, and Camp Counselors will earn $550.00 to $650.00 per week. The United Negro College Fund (UNCF) invites eligible high school senior students desiring to attend college during the 2025-2026 school year to apply to the Fidelity Scholars Program. Students selected from eligible applicants will receive financial scholarships, mentorship, college success coaching, and career development to help students “thrive” in college and beyond.
