We are 100% volunteer-run, so we wouldn't be here without you! If you're interested in volunteering, sign up below to be added to our volunteer mailing list, and join our volunteer community! You will get emails before each event with deets on how to register as a volunteer.
We are always looking for more skill sets. Our repair desks are always based purely on the volunteers we have! So if you don't see your specialty below, but think you can add something, we LOVE to hear it.
And even if you don't know how to repair things, you can learn, or volunteer as general help!
Some categories of volunteer roles:
- Check-in or check-out desk
- Managing item influx/backlog
- Runners (escorting patrons to the right desk, helping to bring items where they need to go)
- Photography and social media
- Stitchers (hand-sewing or machine-sewing)
- Electronics repair
- Jewelry repair
- Plant and gardening help
- Woodworking
- Bike repair
- Knife sharpening (aka Sharpies)
- ...Anything else you know how to do!
