After many days and paint samples later you’ve finally landed on the perfect paint color for your next project. Finally feeling confident in your decision (or at least sick of thinking about it) you head to the paint store, wait in the inevitably long line – is it like that everywhere or just where I am? – make it to the counter and the guy asks, “what finish would you like that in?” Instantly, your stomach drops and that feeling of being called on in 7th grade history class when you didn’t know the answer to who the 21st president of the United States was floods your body.
