How much time has your team spent...

Deciding whether and how to say anything about Israel/Palestine since October 7?

During the 2020 Black Lives Matter uprisings?

When the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade?

Dealing with staff, clients, customers, board members, or donors who were upset about how you handled these and other watershed news moments?

Probably more time than you'd have liked -- or could afford to.

👎 The bad news:

Unprecedented times are here to stay. These kinds of events won't be stopping or slowing down any time soon.

👍 The good news:

There's a much more efficient and effective way to handle them. You don't have to be spending so much time navigating how you communicate about them at work, only to face backlash that takes even more time to handle.

AFTER A DECADE OF HELPING CLIENTS WITH THESE CHALLENGES,

I'm excited to share my clear, three-step process that will:

Save you time and energy

🔄 Align your responses to major current events with your organizational values and strategy

Ensure your statements and actions are substantive and supportive to your staff and customers (read: won't get you canceled)

💪 Bonus: Help you strengthen your allyship skills

Spend an hour learning this process with me, and save yourself and your team hundreds of hours as you implement it time and time again over the years. No more sitting through endless meetings trying to figure out what to do each time the news cycle throws you off.

This training is for you if...

You're a leader

You have a leadership role in your organization (you manage one or more people or teams), and/or play a role in determining organizational strategy.

You care

You care about making sure that your constituents (staff, customers, clients, donors, etc) feel respected by you and your organization. You want to do the right thing!

You've got no time to waste

When the news cycle feels turbulent, you crave a foolproof, efficient plan for what to do about it at work.

You’re stretched too thin to keep repeating old patterns.

You need a plan for...

What, if anything, you're going to say to your team if there's another insurrection or wave of dangerous protests after this year's presidential election.

How you're going to support your staff if you wake up to news of a mass shooting in a town near yours.

What guidance you'll give your social media team if mass uprisings begin over a Supreme Court decision that some of your staff supported while it makes others fear for their lives and the wellbeing of their families.

After this one-hour training, you’ll have a clear, efficient process to use yourself and offer your organization. You'll know how to develop strategies for communicating about current events that make your staff feel respected and supported, enabling them to be more engaged and productive.
