When and where will we meet?
The course starts on 17 February and runs until 31 March.
We will meet on Google Meet once a week for 6 lessons, plus 2 more sessions (kick-off meeting, mid-term check-in).
The exact meeting times will be decided together by voting.
Any weekday morning or afternoon (except Wednesday) in Budapest time is suitable for me.
How much time will it take to complete the course?
Since this is an intensive course with the potential for great progress, it takes a lot of time to prepare. It is highly recommended to listen to the audios several times and then read the transcript and the grammar explanation: I think it is half an hour, to participate in the class: one hour, to write the homework: min. half an hour, so approx. per week it is worth spending 2 hours on it.
How difficult will the lessons be?
You should be at least at a strong A1 level.
Required knowledge:
Plural forms, Accusative case, Possessive case, Present tense, Basic definite-indefinite conjugation, Understanding of transitive and intransitive verbs, "Hol?", "Hova?", "Honnan?" endings.
If you are unsure about your language level, listen to a Plain Hungarian A1 Podcast episode. If you understand 60% of it, you're likely ready for this program.
