SUNDAY SCARIES CIRCLE

Monthly online yoga and writing practice for those feeling anxious and worried

Are you dreading Sunday afternoons?

You’re not alone.

The ‘Sunday Scaries’ are real.

It’s that knot in your stomach as Monday creeps closer—the sight of unfinished laundry, the endless replay of todo lists, or the sinking feeling that you’re already behind before the week even starts.

Maybe you’ve tried “just relaxing” or told yourself “it will be ok,” but the dread doesn’t go away that easily.

It’s exhausting, and you’re not alone.

For many of us, it’s easy to get stuck in this cycle and hard to break out.

WHAT IF YOU COULD...

🌿 Feel a sense of calm and clarity on what's coming next

🌿 Replace the dread of Sunday evenings with self-connection and grounding

🌿 Create a routine that works for you, without adding more to your plate

🌿 Be supported by a group that does not exhaust you

WHAT IS SUNDAY SCARIES CIRCLE?

This unique offering is designed for anyone feeling uneasiness or anxiety about the days, weeks, or months ahead.

At the end of each month, we come together to blend calming practices like reflective writing and mindful movement, creating a structured way to cultivate peace and clarity.

This online gathering combines movement, journaling, and intentional stillness to help you...

DON'T JUST TAKE MY WORD FOR IT

Munkyong, who wanted to better manage her time...

I am much more conscious of my anxiety. There are ups and downs, but I try to remind myself that my anxiety will pass in the end or that the level of anxiety could be changed.

I’m grateful that I joined your class and enjoyed some of the most peaceful moments this summer.

Marylee, who felt always a little overwhelmed and busy preparing for a new week...

This course made me realize that I can use tools to manage my anxiety, not only on Sundays but during the rest of the week when life feels overstimulating.

It’s always so nice when teachers in virtual classes tell us that we don’t need our cameras on. It really takes so much stress out of joining a Zoom class.

Hey, I'm Sue

Yoga has been a vital part of my life since 2011. After burning out from my corporate job, I turned to a dedicated yoga practice that brought me calm and balance.

In my teaching, I encourage students to honor their individuality by exploring the subtle nuances of asanas and adapting them to their own needs. I believe yoga props are invaluable tools for creating a practice that feels both supportive and personal.

I hold a 200-hour certification from Nandi Yoga and a 300-hour certification with Jason Crandell. I’ve also studied with Lisa Becks, Hana Raftery, and Courtney Ronca, and I’m currently mentored by Alexandria Crow and Toni Cupal.

Have more questions?

Don't worry, I got you. Here are some answers for your questions.

I'd love to join, but price is a concern.

I want this offering to be accessible to everyone. My pricing reflects the care and energy I put into holding this space.

1) Monthly payments: Click here

2) Scholarships: Email [email protected] for code. Reserved for BIPOC students and those with financial hardship—no questions asked. Limited # of spots are available.

3) Trade/Exchange: Have an idea for a barter? Email me—I’m happy to explore ways we can support each other.

Do I need to join live? -- Nope!

We don’t want our practices to feel like another obligation. Your practice should feel like yours, on your own terms.

Flexibility is essential for self-care. If you’d rather cuddle with your furry friends, honor that. Skipping a class doesn’t mean missing out—your practice will be there when you’re ready.

In 2024, many of my students (often 80% or more) chose recordings over live attendance. What surprised me was how connected I still feel to my students, even when we’re not together in real time. It’s a beautiful part of this offering.

Why writing? What does that have to do with yoga?

Writing and yoga complement each other, with writing serving as a mental inventory to organize thoughts and emotions, and yoga as a physical inventory to calm our system down. Together, they create a balanced routine that promotes overall mindfulness.

Why Sunday? Why not Saturday?

I tend to worry in advance, and if I try to tackle the Sunday Scaries early, I can see myself creating Saturday Scaries! My hope is to fully enjoy Saturday and use this offering as an anchor to look forward to Sunday 💗
