Coaching Can Help Develop Many Areas
Coaching is tailored to the individual, and many of these areas may overlap, including work and home life
Confidence & Clarity
Building greater confidence in your role, your decisions, and how you want to show up at work.
Leadership & Communication
Strengthening how you communicate, lead others, manage expectations, and handle conversations more effectively.
Performance & Effectiveness
Improving focus, follow-through, prioritization, decision-making, and the ability to work in a more intentional way.
Managing Challenge & Change
Navigating career transitions, increased responsibility, people challenges, team dynamics, or periods of uncertainty.
Self-Awareness & Patterns
Identifying the habits, assumptions, or patterns that may be helping or hindering you — and building more useful ways of working.
Sustainable Success
Creating ways of working and leading that are effective, realistic, and aligned with who you are, rather than relying on constant over-effort.
Neurodivergent-Friendly Support
For those with ADHD or other neurodivergent traits, coaching can help build practical strategies, greater self-understanding, and approaches that work with your brain rather than against it.
What's the difference between coaching, mentoring, training and advising?

Coaching
Client led, asking questions for them to find their own answers.

Mentoring
Mentor sharing their learned experience, allowing the mentee to develop

Training
Teacher imparts knowledge and skills in a structured way to help individuals learn.

Advising
Provides more direct recommendations and practical guidance.
If you feel that one of the other development tools, advising, mentoring or training or a blended approach incorporating a mixture of these approaches are more appropriate, schedule a call and we can discuss your needs to see if a blended approach is the best fit.
What Clients Typically Gain
For many clients, the biggest shift is moving from feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or reactive to feeling clearer, calmer, and more intentional.
* Greater confidence in themselves and their decision-making
* More clarity about priorities, direction, and next steps
* Taking action towards or achieving their goals / desired outcomes
* Improved ability to communicate and manage relationships at work

* Increased self-awareness and understanding of what helps or hinders them
* Practical strategies they can apply immediately
* Less overthinking and more purposeful action
* A stronger sense of ownership over their career, leadership, and working life

Karen has worked with me as my coach through what has to be one of the most important periods in my career, marking a major turning point for me.
Aside from always being hugely enjoyable sessions, Karen’s ‘super-power’ for me has been her ability not to shy away from asking me challenging questions.
Always done with the utmost sensitivity, she has never let either of us ‘duck’ what’s difficult to work out and for that in particular I recommend Karen.

I found her (coaching) style very helpful and supportive to guide me in areas that I wanted to focus on.
Karen was supportive and listened to my needs and helped me with goal setting and worked with me to allow me to take ownership and accountability as well as use techniques and methods to assess progress of the goals that I'd set myself.

Is Coaching Right For Me?
Sometimes it may include career-related topics, but it is broader than traditional career coaching. The focus is on helping you navigate your working life more effectively, whether that is about leadership, performance, confidence, change, or direction.
Coaching is for individuals who want space to think, reflect, and move forward more effectively. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting. In fact, many people come to coaching because they want help making sense of what is going on and deciding what to do next.
Coaching can help all areas of life.
The areas we specialize in are leadership, confidence, communication, performance, effectiveness, transitions, self-awareness, career direction, and building more sustainable ways of working. It can also support people who feel that the way they think or work is creating friction and who want practical strategies that better suit them.

Stronger managers create stronger results.
When managers align team goals to company priorities, set clear expectations, and address issues early, performance improves, work moves faster, and fewer problems escalate into costly distractions.
As a result of attending this program the business should see better execution, clearer accountability, and more consistent decision-making, plus higher engagement and retention because strong performers feel supported and underperformance is managed fairly and directly.
Over time, this reduces churn, protects culture, improves productivity, and lowers risk, freeing leaders up to focus on growth instead of firefighting.
Yes. Coaching can be particularly valuable for individuals who want to better understand how they work, build strategies that support them, and stop relying on approaches that were never designed for them in the first place. This is not therapy or diagnosis, but it can be an effective developmental space.
It's up to you, as the coachee you lead the sessions and decide whether or not work between sessions is valuable. Often 'work' is what you will be doing in your day to day.
Coaching is generally held online via a video call.
In person sessions can take place in Venice, CA on request and agreement.
It depends on the challenge/goal/desired outcome.
It is 'a journey' which is the reason why one off sessions don't tend to be wholly effective. Six is the standard package, however if the sessions are required with a very specific goal in mind then fewer may be agreed.
