Why I’m Building This

I’m building this because I’ve been there. Using ChatGPT at midnight to process my emotions and feeling frustrated when it jumped straight to solutions. I needed a holistic approach: a space to feel my feelings first, so any solutions would actually make sense for what I was going through.

I’ve also been on both sides of emotional dumping: drained by friends who needed hours of processing instead of professional support, and guilty about doing the same to others when I was struggling.

I’ve had profound breakthroughs in between therapy sessions, only to wait weeks before seeing a therapist while insights faded and new challenges piled up.

All of this made me realize we all struggle with the same gaps: the time between sessions, the fear of burdening our support networks, and the courage it takes to start therapy in the first place.

That’s why I’m building this product: to hold space for that emotional process, using therapeutic approaches to guide people through tough moments until they’re ready to talk to someone about it.
