The best way to sell your services is with an email list. And the best way to fill your email list is by offering a free resource, discount, or webinar, or service in return.
A downloadable resource costs you no extra time when someone accesses it, and costs you no money on the existing services you offer. It is the best return on investment for marketing your email list.
But it is definitely a place where business owners can get stuck in overthinking mode. So this checklist is designed to help you get a published lead magnet freebie ready to go with as little time for overthinking as possible.

Her team, composed of scientists, engineers, and programmers, has been instrumental in this mission. In 2023, she published "Turn GCSE Stress into Exam Success," a planner designed to support students through their exams with a focus on wellbeing, time management, goal setting, organization, and effective revision techniques.
In addition to tutoring, Georgina has been actively involved in coaching teachers and tutors to transition to online teaching and grow their online businesses through her free Facebook group, one-on-one mentoring, and group coaching sessions since March 2020. She was also a community Science Lead for Qualified Tutor, hosted Love Tutoring Festival 3, and established the Qualified Tutor Connect membership and local Love Tutoring events in Hertfordshire with Rysia Connolly.
Georgina served as the Essex and East of England Community Hub leader for The Tutors' Association, organising networking events for TTA members. In 2023, she co-hosted the Skyrocket conference with Joanne Kaminski and Michael Gibben, offering free training to education business owners. She volunteers in local schools delivering STEM workshops and career events through STEM Learning, STEMAZING, and ELSA Next Generation, and hosts Grace's Space, a social club for children with autism and their families through Tune into ASD.
Away from the desk, Georgina enjoys weight lifting, live music and comedy, playing guitar, reading crime fiction, and spending time with her animals at home.
