A free one hour workshop for everyone who believes theatre and performance making needs to be more accessible, and more supportive of everyone’s wellbeing.
Wednesday 24th January 12pm GMT
The workshop will be recorded and a replay sent to everyone signed up, so don't worry if you can't make it live
If you can't book due to no spaces being available, please email me on [email protected] to sign up to receive the replay only.
What trauma sensitive theatre & performance making is
Why it's important
Why we should all be doing it, but it’s okay that we haven’t been
And why this is something we absolutely must do to help us make the best work we can, and make work that can change the world
Run by me – Ellen Franklyn-Carr your friendly advocate for making all theatre and performance making trauma sensitive.
I’m a holistic and trauma sensitive coach for artists and creatives, and a creative practitioner myself with a background in theatre and performance. My trauma sensitive training comes from my training as a trauma sensitive yoga teacher, and current training as an accredited trauma informed yoga teacher. I have absolutely not always been running spaces in a trauma sensitive way, and I will not be preaching to you or making you feel bad. Instead I will be inspiring us all to take steps to explore this important work together.
