Welcome to my corner of the world. My name is Doris King, and I am a mother of three beautiful young children, navigating life after an unimaginable loss. Recently widowed, I found myself plunged into a whirlwind of grief, anger, and disbelief. Life, as I knew it, had been torn apart, leaving me to pick up the pieces while still being the pillar of strength for my children.

In the midst of my pain, I realised that I had a choice: to let the grief consume me or to find a way to live again, not just for myself but for my children. This journey hasn't been easy. There have been days filled with rage, tears, and an overwhelming sense of injustice. But through it all, I've discovered the power of vulnerability, the importance of self-compassion, and the healing that comes from sharing my story.
