WHO I AM:

I'm Bridie. I've spent 9 years telling artist's stories in some of the UK's most progressive galleries, including the ICA, Serpentine Galleries, Whitechapel Gallery and more. I specialised in communications and PR, cultivating and managing the public image of the galleries and its curators alongside running international campaigns on exhibitions, events, cinema, restaurants and commercial artwork. At times, I also worked across curatorial, artist management, sales, and event and festival production.

I founded Why You Create at the start of 2022 to bring my experience to creative businesses. I'm strategic, detail-orientated and a problem solver... and I'm scrupulous when it comes to articulating who you are and why you create.
