We’re Jo and Lauren — we both work for ourselves (Jo as a Marketing Strategist & Instagram Specialist, Lauren as a VA with a brilliant team of associates), and we love the flexibility.
But truth be told? It can get lonely.
Working from home, juggling family life — it’s a lot. And while we’re grateful for the freedom, it can sometimes feel a bit disconnected.
Women’s Work Social began with the desire to leave the online world and re-establish those in-person connections we all craved post-pandemic.
It started small. A handful of like-minded women who, like us, were balancing family life with big business dreams — and who also happened to love a chat, a glass of fizz, and a good laugh.
And the rest? Well… the community spoke for itself.

As a member you will save at least 25% on each in person event ticket. In 2025 Business Bites will cost £21 for members, £28 for non members. Our Summer Social & Winter Warmer will be approx £30 for members & £40 for non-members. Members get Free Coffee & Convos Events per year plus FREE Coworking session along with 1 free drink.
Yes, absolutely. Hub members will get priority access to buy tickets at a significantly cheaper price though.

Well, firstly we know this won’t happen! But, if you’re not feeling our vibes you just need to give us one month's notice to leave and we’ll cancel your membership and it's benefits. One months notice to be emailed to [email protected].
