Vamos Columbia
About Vamos Colombia
WHO WE ARE?
Vamos Colombia is a ministry under the covering of Sanctuary Church (Colorado Springs) with a single, clear mission:
We exist to fight human trafficking by healing
the hearts of men.
We believe that the deepest and most lasting transformation happens when men encounter Jesus, engage in biblical discipleship, and are invited into a process of recovery that restores identity, integrity, and purpose. Our focus is simple but urgent: to address the root causes that fuel the demand for exploitation—especially addiction, phonography, and broken masculinity—by raising up healed, whole, spiritually alive men.

OUR VISION
To see men across Colombia experience freedom, wholeness, and identity in Christ—so that families, communities, and future generations flourish.
We envision a Colombia where:
The cycle of addiction is broken not by shame, but by deep inner healing.
The demand for pornography, sexual exploitation, and trafficking is cut off at the root.
Men walk in emotional sobriety, spiritual maturity, and healthy relationships.
Churches and pastors are equipped with practical recovery discipleship tools.
Human trafficking thrives where the hearts of men are wounded.
When the hearts of men are healed, trafficking loses its grip.
WHAT WE DO?
Vamos Colombia creates discipleship opportunities through recovery, integrating the Gospel with proven, practical tools for lasting transformation.
We accomplish our mission by:
Leading Christ-Centered Recovery Groups
We run recovery groups for men battling pornography, sex addiction, substances, anxiety, emotional numbness, and other identity-shaping struggles. These groups are built around connection, honesty, and spiritual formation—not performance or perfection.
Providing Biblically-Grounded Curriculum and Tools
Our curriculum integrates:
● The Gospel
● Neuroscience and brain-rewiring practices
● Emotional intelligence and accountability
● Recovery disciplines (The 5 P’s, 3 D’s, etc.)
● Structured weekly practices
● Trauma understanding (Big-T / Small-T)
● Tools for rebuilding trust and restoring relationships
These resources are being translated and contextualized into Spanish specifically for Colombian culture.
Training Pastors
and Local
Leaders
Many pastors care deeply but feel unequipped to address addiction, sexuality, shame, and emotional brokenness. Vamos Colombia provides:
● Workshops
● Leader trainings
● Recovery group models
● Coaching
● Church implementation pathways
Our 2026 goal is to equip 100 pastors and launch regional networks of men’s recovery groups across Bogotá and beyond.
Walking With
Men Toward Freedom
We don’t fix people—we walk with them.
Freedom is a process, not a moment.
Recovery is discipleship.
And discipleship is learning to walk with Jesus in every part of life.
Why We Focus on Men

Because when a man is healed:
● Families are restored
● Marriages recover
● Generational cycles break
● Churches strengthen
● Women and children are safer
● Trafficking demand collapses
Healing men is one of the most effective ways to dismantle the systems that fuel exploitation.
The Surprise of Redemption

We believe that no story is too far gone.
We have watched men who were drowning in shame rise into their role as fathers, husbands, leaders, and ambassadors of hope.
We have seen addicts become disciples—and disciples become healers.
That is the power of Jesus.
That is the heart of recovery.
That is the mission of Vamos Colombia.
