It's not too late and you're not too old to have a strong core!

As you age, gravity does a number on your body. Aches and pains in the hips and back seem to be daily fare. It's not normal to have pain, pain is your body telling you that something is wrong. 

The good news is that you can do something about it! There is no wrong time to start strengthening your core when you are over 50. 

  • A strong core keeps your back and hips from hurting when you sit for long periods, or when you walk or run. 
  • A strong core helps you do daily tasks, like loading/unloading the dishwasher or carrying a full laundry basket without pain.
  • A strong core helps you feel more stable on your feet, when you stand up from a chair (or toilet) or when you go up and down stairs.

Having a strong core is more than just having 6-pack abs, a strong core is functional, and it's never too late to start working on yours!
