"A Note for the Angel that is Sherri Courtney...I came to Sherri nearly a year ago in what had felt at the time as a day of rock bottom feeling confusion, whiplash, and heartbreak. After initially discovering my relationship's blind spot, I knew I needed support in order to truly thrive, not just survive, in the aftermath. The shock had revealed to me my own self's weaknesses and attachments as well that needed attention and care. I found Sherri from some diligent Google searching, and felt like it was worth a shot. I was willing at the time to try all kinds of healthy support. Some choices ended up being short-term solutions or quick fixes, yet a combination of Sherri's coaching and guidance ended up being the thing that stuck. I couldn't be more thankful to Sherri for her flexibility with me in the ebbs and flows of this past year, and her ability to speak truth into what I was feeling whenever I needed affirmation that what I was feeling was normal as someone with trauma. She truly was always only a text or call away, and it never felt like I hadn't ever met her in person due to her commitment to be there. I am eternally thankful to her and have since referred friends to her who (unsurprisingly, after realizing the statistics) are going through the same or similar things in their own relationships and self-identity. Because of Sherri walking through this year with me, I am not the same as I was before the betrayal discovery. Nor will I ever be the same. Instead, I think I am a more self-assured while vulnerable, boundary-oriented while unafraid woman than I was before. I'd recommend her to anyone going through heartbreak if they want to learn to rely more on themselves and a healthy network of support to not just make it through the other side of recovery, but set things into motion to have the tools to deal with other forms of heartbreak for the rest of their life."
