The answers to all of these questions will help me get to know you and what you're looking for, so I can create a painting suited to your aesthetic needs and the vibe you're looking to create.
The Process:
Once you submit the form on this page, the next step is for us to connect! I would prefer to speak with you on Zoom or over the phone, so we can discuss the commission a little more in-depth and I can get a greater feel for the project. As an intuitive painter, this is very important to me and my process.
After this discussion, when we both decide that this is a good fit, I will send you the commission contract terms. You can either a) pay in full upfront or b) split the price into two equal payments. If you choose to split the payments, upon signing the contract, 50% of the total cost will be paid as a non-refundable deposit. The remaining 50% will be invoiced upon completion of your painting, after your final approval, and before shipping.
One thing about my commission process that is unique and unconventional is that I often will create more than 1 painting for you to choose from. This allows me to create more freely and leads to creating better work. You can have some options and pick your favorite. You are more than welcome to purchase multiple paintings from what I create during our process, but you are not obligated to. Many of my clients really enjoy having multiple paintings to choose from.
I will keep you updated throughout the creative process with pictures and video via email. Once the painting is completed, I will send you photos to approve prior to shipping. If you approve of the final look, the final 50% payment will be made prior to shipping.
I provide insurance on all art for transportation and will provide tracking information upon shipping, so you can be sure it reaches you safely.
Worried about the shipping costs? I currently offer complimentary domestic shipping (within the U.S.) for all commissions.
