FAQ
From Surviving to Thriving
I’m already so overwhelmed - how will I find the time for this program?
I get it—your schedule is full, and adding anything else can feel impossible. That’s why this program is designed to fit into your life, not add extra stress. Our sessions are just 45 minutes once a week, and the practices I give you are simple, realistic, and adaptable to your daily routines. Even tiny shifts can create big transformations.
I feel guilty spending money and time on myself when my child has so many needs.
This is one of the biggest struggles for carers, and I want you to hear this: Your wellbeing is not selfish. When you are regulated, calmer, and healthier, your whole family benefits. You’ll show up with more energy, patience, and presence - and that helps your child, too.
Is this only for mums of autistic kids?
Not at all. This program is for all carers—whether you’re supporting a child, adult, or partner with additional needs. The common thread is the way caring impacts your nervous system, identity, and wellbeing.
What if I can’t make a session?
Life happens—especially in the caring world. If you need to reschedule, we’ll find a time that works for you. And if something urgent comes up, you’ll still have unlimited text, email, and call support between sessions, so you’ll never feel left behind.
I’ve tried therapy, self-care, and other programs before - how is this different?
Most approaches focus only on one piece of the puzzle—talking about your struggles, managing symptoms, or adding “self-care” to your to-do list.
This program is different because it:
Starts at the root — we work with the trauma stored in your body and nervous system, not just your thoughts.
Heals the whole you — mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing are all supported, not treated in isolation.
Is carer-specific — it’s created by someone who truly understands the unique stress, guilt, and exhaustion of this role.
Is trauma-informed — we move gently and safely, respecting the impact of chronic stress on every part of your life.
Gives you 1:1 intensive support — you’re never left to figure it out alone; I’m right there with you between sessions.
Focuses on real-life tools — practices that actually work in the chaos of caring, not just in calm, quiet moments.
It’s not about “managing” or putting a Band-Aid on burnout. It’s about deep, lasting transformation—so you can finally move from surviving to thriving.
Do I need to prepare anything or have prior experience?
Nope. You don’t need to know anything about somatic work, trauma healing, or mindfulness. You just need to bring yourself, exactly as you are. I’ll meet you where you’re at and guide you step by step.
I’m not sure I’m ready to open up about my struggles. What if it feels too heavy?
We go at your pace. This is a safe, compassionate, judgment-free space. You choose what you share, and I’ll never push you faster than you’re ready for. Many mums say they’re surprised at how gentle and supportive the process feels—even when working on deep things.
What if I can’t keep up with the “homework”?
There’s no rigid homework. I’ll give you simple practices and tools that you can use in daily life - in the car, while making dinner, or during a meltdown. This is about integration, not adding more to your to-do list.
Is it private? I don’t want to feel judged.
Absolutely. Everything we discuss is confidential, and this is a completely safe space. As a fellow carer, I know how important it is to have a space where you can be you - without judgment, guilt, or shame.
What results can I realistically expect in 12 weeks?
Every mum’s journey is unique, but past participants have experienced:
Feeling calmer and less “on edge”
Breaking patterns of guilt and self-neglect
Having more patience and energy with their family
Sleeping better and managing stress more easily
Reconnecting with who they are beyond their caring role
This isn’t a quick fix—but it is the beginning of a profound transformation that lasts well beyond 12 weeks.
What if it doesn’t work for me?
That’s a valid concern. I’ve designed this program to be flexible and personal—so it adapts to your needs and goals. Because of the unlimited support between sessions, you’re never left to figure it out alone. And if something isn’t working, we pivot until we find what does.
How do I know if this is right for me?
If you’re feeling stuck in survival mode, exhausted, or disconnected from yourself, this program is likely exactly what you need. The best way to know for sure is to have a chat with me. Reach out, and we can talk through your situation and whether this is the right fit for you.
