Surf REC is an on-demand recording and coaching solution designed to enhance your surfing experience. Using robotic cameras strategically positioned in top surf spots in Portugal, controlled by a wearable tracking device, you can now film your surfing sessions effortlessly.

Surf REC is currently live at Ribeira D’Ilhas, with our kiosk conveniently located behind the restaurant and our cameras set up on the top. You can easily start your session there and have your surf footage automatically sent to your account. Our next location will be Carcavelos, so stay tuned for updates as we expand to more beaches!
Surf wave analysis is the process of reviewing video footage of your waves captured automatically by Surf REC, to identify technique errors, strategic improvements, and untapped potential. A certified coach watches every wave, annotates key moments, and delivers a personalised report with actionable drills.
The bundle combines one Surf REC recording session (automatic wave capture) with a full wave analysis report from your chosen coach. You receive all your footage plus annotated feedback, a technique breakdown, and a personalised improvement plan everything in one purchase.
Delivery times vary by partner but are typically 48–72 hours after your footage is submitted. Check each coach's profile for their current turnaround time.
Yes you can visit each partner's website directly to enquire about analysis using your own footage. However, the Surf REC bundle is designed to give coaches the highest-quality, uninterrupted wave clips for the most accurate feedback possible.
